I try and avoid the question if at all possible. Anytime I've tried to explain catch and release to a non-fishermen or sportsmen, I get the deer in the headlights look.
Hello everyone. I decided to join after visiting this site for quite some time. I've been fishing for about 40+ years, lots of saltwater but I've been spending more time in freshwater the last few years. Love Bass fishing and fish mostly in the central Jersey lakes. I do take a trip up to Canada every year so Pike have become very desirable. I'm looking forward to participating here.
Everyone has bad periods. Keep at it. If you're losing lures, you're fishing where bass are. Fish structure and you'll lose lures, its part of the game. Just keep fishing, it only takes one pig to light the fire. Once you have that fire, the only thing you'll be saying on your trips is, "one more cast"
