  3. Im very sorry to hear this. Im in high school and ive known a few people who have attempted at suicide but none have accomplished it which is a good thing. I have been in my dark places before and have thought of it but i realize it wouldnt solve anything. Now most of the time when im depressed i found that fishing helps me. People, if they feel like they are in a position to even think about suicide, they should talk to someone. I understand its hard for kids to talk to people especially their parents but they should at least find someone. I understand older people like parents, who have thought of suicide because sometimes people like that feel like they have failed at something in their lives when they are supposed to be completely succesful so they can lead in example for their children. But, they need to realize failer isnt the end its just an ordeal that happens that they have to soldier through with. Life is hard but it wouldnt be worth it if it wasnt
  4. yea thats what i was kind of thinking my dad used to be able to go to the very back of mud lake and hunt but i guess he cant do it anymore
  5. hey u can pretty much use the same size hook cause i use a 3/0 or 4/0 on a 10 or 12 inch worm and have no problems. But what i do is instead of sticking the end of the hook back directly into the bait i kind of put the end of it to the side instead of straight in the middle.
  6. I have an 04 and it works great for everything. Tank size and mileage no issues. yea the milage isnt bad but it isnt great. The 4wheel drive has not worked since my dad got the truck, tow/haul thing doesnt work. this may be me and my dads fault but it has 200000 miles on it and its on its last leg.
  7. trying to use the NASCAR model and failed enough said
  8. Yea haha thats the conclusion my dad made.
  9. But they decided the plan to close in november and open back in febuary like back in may so idk if that has anything to do with it.
  10. Horn Lake also known as Lake View in nothern Mississippi is being closed in Novemeber till Febuary and i am still confused why. All i know is that a company bought the land rights for the lake. If anyone knows anything let us know about it.
  11. Chevy Avalanche z71 is a great towing vehicle and the newones have good gas milage the one i have which is a 2002 saddly does not
  12. I still hold animosity towards Canada for Nickelback - and until they offer a formal apology for their existence, things will little change. I mean Canada did give us Rush so i would say they get 3 chances to screw up and theyve already screwed up twice with Celine Dion and Nickleback so they only got one more freebee
  13. My favorite line is Big Enis Burdett"Old Legends never die they just lose weight" little enis burdett " i guess a legend and an outwork bum look alot of like daddy"
  14. hahaha dad says that to me all the time. I like to consider my relationship with my dad kind of similar to Buford and Jr haha at a lesser extent
  15. I know how you feel Dad and his friends we usually fish with have always told me about their experiences with inconsiterate people and didnt experience it till recently. I was on sardis with my dad fish parrallel to a point and this guy and his wife in a rented pontoon, instead of going around the back of us at a distance, they cut right in front of us probably not 15 feet from the front of the boat and the guy said " not in your way am i". i was about to throw a freakin crankbait to his skull but my dad told me to calm down and my dad being the poetic person he is said "what do you think" The guy got it and kept going but i just got to say there are some real "smart" people out there.
  16. Me and dad are huge Smokey and the Bandit fans if you guys have ever seen the movie. We were talking about this idea which could never happen but i thought it was good enough to share. If you havnt seen the movie its about these guys who are challenged to drive from georgia to texarkana, tx and back in 28 hours we were thinking about if you turn that into some type of bass tournament. You have a bunch of people start in atlanta and who ever reaches Sam Rayburn first gets to pick there fleet and spot number and the top 2 to win the tournament get the choices of two boats. One rapped like the truck trailer from the movie and the other like Buford T. Justices cop car from the movie. Stupid idea could never happen but dumb enough to share
  17. ok the past times ive been has been outof goat island but ive fished over there near stateline over there near aqua on the other side of the bridge. Depending on how shallow it is back there you should be able to find fish in brush piles and theres a pretty good shallow point out there but idk if its deep enough to get back there

  24. Oldgolf try going in back of shoots and fish somewhat shallow around boatdocks especially in the coves. If you fine brush piles up against the docks you should strike gold
