  1. After my first tournament I realized I have alot to learn. I personally think I won this tournament purely on luck. I'm not saying skill has nothing to do with it, I'm just saying in this circumstance, luck made a difference. I was real sloppy when it came to my casts and I was hanging up alot. Being left handed and fishing with someone who is right handed didn't make things easier. Towards the end of the fishing time I thought I had lost; in most situations this would of been the case. When I got to the weigh-in I got a great surprise. At that first moment I thought " man If I'm good enough to win my first tournament then I'm good enough to fish bigger tournaments". The more I've thought about, the more I've realize that I'm extremely far from being experienced enough to fish big tournaments. The reason I put this in the resumes section is because, many people want to go right into these big tournaments and automatically want sponsors. You just can't do that. You have to prove yourself; not just to others but mainly to yourself. If I had won with a 5 fish limit and every other non boater had a 5 fish limit and didn't make any mistakes then that would of said something different but that is not what happened. It's like luck is the rabbit in the race; it may get you close to the end fast but it may not be able to help you complete what you are after. Skill is like the turtle; it may take along time but if you do it right, you will achieve what you want. Hope this make since to whoever reads this.
  2. they make good $100 paper weights. Either spend around the same price and get a BPS PQ or spend more and get a Shimano Citica
  3. Yeah miles is some one who I hang out with at tournys and stuff and talk to alot. I dont mean to make is sound like im up set or any thing I was just pointing out that there are some excellent anglers who do diserve the the air time. isn't he the guy who played "Radar" on M*A*S*H's son? umm... oh my mistake haha

  6. My friends dad, who lives in Atlanta is one of Justin Biebers producers and my friend is good friend of Justin. He's told me that all of this fame has gone straight to his head and Bieber takes advantage of it....A LOT.
  7. Should of shown him what the skateboard can also be used for.
  8. I got spring from now till friday, just wondering if anyone is going somewhere that has an open spot. I'll pay my way for gas if needed. Thanks Austin
  9. theres also super-stainless but they suck worse than t-2s
  10. Blue package t-1 red package t-2. T-1 have a slender head and better blades. t-2 have a rounder head and crappier blades.
  11. T-2 have been around for years. They are really bad tho, they are may very very cheaply and fall apart easily the only worse thing is super stainless.
  12. BPS said they stopped carring them, have they also been discontinued
  13. He destroyed on day 2 and kept consistent. He deserved the win.
  14. man those look awsome great job!!!
  15. Zoom Baby Brush Hogs and Yum F21 Salleemanders
  16. There were 6 others. One co-angler caught 7lbs but he wasn't in the money I actually kind of feel bad because of that.
  17. the spots i found pre-fishing but he figured them out with the right bait, so maybe it makes a difference but you never know people have stomped boaters from the back of the boat.
  18. 2.15 and my Boater came in second in the boaters pot with 12 lbs.
  19. Good news haha. Won my first tournament as Co-Angler. 250 richer and only caught one fish. Im good like that haha.
  20. Blood knot, but it is kind of tricky to tie.
  21. I suggest go Falcon Bucco 7-17 I think? is the right one. It's Heavy action, theres one thats Heavy thats rated 6 and one that is 7. Go with the one that is 7. It's about 110. Or if you're tight on money go BPS Bionic.
  22. Like people are saying go braid with fluoro leader. Financial wise I'd go spiderwire braid and yo-zuri ultra soft fluoro they are cheap and they work.
  23. I've grown up using the C-rig and it out performs T-rigs for me. I use C-rig all year in all different levels of water. Usually on points, flats, and I also use it to search for cover. T-rigs I use when I'm on top of cover, usually flipping pitching situations. I'll use T-rigs pond hopping and anytime I need to go weightless. Some people say C-rig only works in deep water, this is false cause I've had good luck in 2 to a foot of water with it.
  24. You don't know what insulated means? :-?
  25. That boat is a work of art!!!
