  1. You need to try the back of the run out if the water is high, hit the culver near the ramp, hit the sand ditch in front to the right of the ramp, and hit up down the cypress trees.

  3. During a tournament our club has a rule where you have to at the minimum give 20 dollars to your partner. I always take into consider how far the tournament is, is a 2 day, do we have to spend the night, and where do I have to meet him for him to pick me up. For example: last month was a tournament at a lake 45 minutes from where I met my boater so I gave him 25 dollars and paid for his launch fee. This month is a 2 day at a lake an hour to an hour and a half away so Im going to give him 60 dollars (which is 30 per day) and going to split the hotel cost. Just take everything into consideration.
  4. Tying and re-tying slowly. My boater told me that you aren't going to do good with out your bait in the water. So when you need to change up tie fast as you can. Practice your knots is all I can say.
  5. Theres West TN Elite Bass Club that I'm in and another member on here is in. Great club, great group of guys.
  6. did you have to print out the sale price or anything? No they looked it up at the store. Only thing is I couldn't use my discount card from my bass club because it was considered an additional sale price.
  7. It worked at the store cause I got a PQ for the sale price that was online.

  13. Lake View is crazy on the weekends but a good spot to fish. I would say go to horseshoe.
  14. Hey man welcome to the forum. You got alot of range down here from big to large. It seems like you don't want to go to the river or big reservoirs yet right? Well there's Horsehoe that is not an hour out of memphis and Lake View as well. There's Glenn Springs and Herb Parsons that are TWRA lakes but they are Idle only. Personally you could try the lower lake of Sardis or Try Enid they are not that bad. I would say Grenada but thats a 2 hour drive when you got Sardis and Enid on the way
  15. Mann's Baby Minus comes in 3 different sizes. It comes in like a small one medium one and a large size but only runs about a foot deep.
  16. I got the BPS stalker bag. It's great cause it came with all the boxes... still not sure if it was suppose to or not.
  17. Thanks man, My problem will be I will try going into a deal when I barely have the money to afford it. What you're saying makes perfect since and I probably need to wait and stock pile more money. Maybe if I save more I can get something better. Austin
  18. I use spider wire and everytime I reel up the line it is bunched up, frayed, and twisted.
  19. It's a fish attractant in a chap stick type form. You just rub it against your bait or hook or whatever you want pretty much.
  20. Just wondering if anyone else has used it? I've used it for the past couple weeks and it has been working well. A friend of mine gave it to me in Shad flavor and it has made a difference.
  21. Rods - Falcon Reels - BPS or Shimano Line - Mono: Sufix Siege Fluoro: Seaguar Red Label Hardbaits - Bandit Softbaits - ZOOM Storage - Plano
  22. Let me know when you guys do another I'll be in.
  23. 7'6 medium heavy, reel doesnt matter the rod is really the only thing that does besides the line. Line I'd use fluoro or mono usually 12 to 20 pound test depending on the situation. Stay away from braid.
  24. Hey everyone, I've been thinking about getting a boat for awhile and most of my plans have fallen through. I was just wondering if I was to get a Jon boat what path should I go? Should I buy just the boat and upgrade it? Should I buy it with a few things and upgrade it like a motor seats and trolling motor? Or should I buy it fully loaded? My only problem is I got limited funds. That is why I was thinking just to buy a plane boat and upgrade it but not sure should I do that.
