Since the Mississippi River is about to crest at 45, every other river is backed up. It's rising quick too. Left for school this morning and the street I take was fine, came home and theres water going across it. I'm confused how I'm getting to school tomorrow if all the roads are flooded. But the real matter is, what about the people whose houses are under water now?
K.I.S.S. : Keep It Simple Stupid. Black spinnerbait with a single colorado blade and hold on. I don't think you even need a trailer. Black Buzzbait would work perfectly too.
Went back today. Caught 3 on a Keitech swim bait with a scrounger head and missed 1. Wind wasn't blowing like yesterday so the spinnerbait didn't seem to work as well. Not much size to them though. There is 2 ponds one with I caught numbers and one I caught size. The difference though, that I noticed, is that one with numbers looks dirtier but has less algae in it and the one with size is very clear with a lot of algae and green gunk in it along the banks. Also these ponds are extremely deep.
I know I havn't really posted any pictures of me catching fish. This is due to I never use my actual camera. Well today I actually end up taking my camera along and I end up catching this nice baby on a spinnerbait. Actually I rarely catch fish pond hopping at all . The lake is another story .
If any of you remember me talking about my dad's motor well, I found the problem. It is the ECU in the motor. It is a 1996 200HP Mariner EFI. The ECU is doing something to the EFI to where it isn't working consistantly. Sometimes it will fire, sometimes not, sometimes it will fire with little power, sometimes with full. The biggest problem now is that the part is $2000. Do any of you guys know where or how I can find the part cheaper than that?
Oh no, I'm not blaming the tournament on the bait. If I blame anything it would be the 15 inch minimum cause I caught plenty of fish but not the right length. I changed baits and I caught fish with what I changed to. I was using the same color for both baits by the way. I didn't prefish with it though, I got it in on Friday and used it during the tournament but that was my only chance to use it.
Man just put a weight, brass bead, and glass bead (in that order) on your main line, tie that to a swivel, get a piece of line thats a foot or 2 feet long and tie it to a swivel. Rigging it isn't hard, I rather rig it myself than use premade because they break and bend.
Rough tournament is all I can say. First day was 20 to 30 mph winds out of the west with 40 degree temps and a 15 inch length limit on the lake didn't help either. My boater on Saturday won with 13 lbs and zeroed the next day and my boater on the second day didn't do to well Saturday but won Sunday with 9.45 lbs. I personally did horrible. 3.75 on saturday and .99 on Sunday. Sunday was just pure bad luck catching the first fish on the first cast. 13 inch spot was not worth it.
Hope JP Coleman will be better next month,

Went to the doctor yesterday,
Bruised tendent, busted vein and busted blood vessel. Thats why there's like a bubble on behind my knuckle. He said I got lucky and walls always win.
I've been using this stuff call fishsticks. They are scents in like a chapstick form. You just rub it against your crankbait or soft plastic and it leaves no mess or anything.
Yea I know that, like I said I fixed the whole. I went straight to the maitenance guys at my school and told them what happen and they helped me fix it.
My coach said " you've ever seen Karate Kid 2" and showed me where he punched in a window and had to have surgery on his arm and how he almost died from loss of blood. That scared the crap out of me.
