  1. Nice bass man! It's nice about the warranty. Hey I saw you on the Charlie Moore show the other day man! Pretty crazy man!
  2. Thanks man! Yeah I think the smallmouth fishing is supposed to pick up here towards fall. I'm gonna be hitting the river more and more as the weather cools down.
  3. Hey thanks guys! Yeah that's pretty big for the penobscot I was pretty surprised. Can't wait to get back out and try to hook in to one even bigger! Thanks again for the comments!
  4. Man that's crazy! Great bass! Sorry you didn't get that monster again during the tourney but at least you stuck it! 11 lbs? haha man that's crazy
  5. It's always nice to catch 5 or more and think in the back of your head that at least you got a limit. Great job man keep it up!
  6. Ha it IS the shorts! Man good god!! Would you share with us the astounding weights of those beasts? Or do fish that big break your scale? Thanks for sharing the techniques and presentations you're using. Inspiring stuff man. WTG!
  7. Hey man - saw you on the Charlie Moore Show the other day. Lol I did a double take but it was definitely you! That's dope man good for you! That must have been a good time! Y'all were frying up some snakeheads haha it was awesome. I was like, what in the . . . . That's dude from the forum! Wasn't sure where to post my congratulations lol so I figured I'd do it here lol Great job man! Congrats!
  8. Went out on the Penobscot River to try to find some smallmouths and ended up with a new smallie PB! Not crazy huge but a PB for me and above average for the Penobscot from what I hear. And the river smallies are just fun. I just caught my first smallie this year and am just happy to be finally figuring the bronzebacks out a little. This one measured 19” and weighed 3.9 lbs. I was floating downstream and noticed a small inlet that I hadn’t seen on the way upstream. Motored over to it and this beauty hit a jig n craw just outside the inlet on my first cast! Made a great ending to my day of catching around 20 or so on the river. Got a few pics of some of the smaller ones on my thread if anyone’s interested. Tight lines!
  9. Got a chance to get out on the hunt for some river smallies. Had a great time! Caught around 20 fish, the largest being a new PB of 3.9 Here’s the 3.9 It measured 19” and came on a jig with a rage craw trailer Here are a few pics of some of the other ones I feel like the smaller ones in the 1.5-2# range give a better fight. I think I heard that somewhere and so far I’ve found it to be the case. The fish came on all sorts of lures – from a 10” worm to jigs to tubes to rage craws to spinnerbaits. Had a great time trying out different techniques and trying to find some bronzebacks on the big ole Penobscot!
  10. I've been a little M.I.A. for a bit but hopefully things will be calm and my schedule should be pretty free here for a while so yeah like marinetech said I'm definitely down to meet somewhere in the middle and amitysanimal you're right we should make it a priority to meet up asap! Srry I don't have any tips on East Grand Lake - haven't been there. Good luck though! Mainebassman - yeah man we gotta get together here man I'm gonna PM you right now. I'm at your service as far as scheduling and location, and I really can't wait man - it'll be nice to meet up with you and I know I'll learn a lot by seeing how you target these bass up here!
  11. Nice fish man! Funny watching it dig in there to get back out deep. I was talking to a guy up here in Maine who uses the pink bubblegum senkos and swears by them. I was gonna order some but haven't yet - maybe there's something to the pink! Nice vid man keep it up!

  14. Haha that's classic man - and probably the biggest frog I've ever seen. lol thanks for sharing man!
  15. That's awesome man, way to use google earth and have the curiosity to try new places, and looks like changing up colors was just what you needed to trigger that big strike!
  16. It's good to know I'm not the only one who has tough days lol - Nice bass and thanks for sharing the vid!
  17. Yeah man that seems like a real nice environment to fish for smallies in! Just caught my first river smallies this past week myself, I enjoyed the difference in setting and presentation - the current makes it fun for sure. Thanks for sharing!
  18. That's a great story and thanks for sharing the pictures of the monster bass! Congrats! Big bassers like you give us little guys something to aspire to!

Awesome man congrats on nailing that beast! 7#
  20. Don't know why no one's responded to this man THANKS for sharing this it seems like it was really a great trip with good friends and nice fish! The underwater vids are always a treat to see as well man. Looks like real good times!
  21. Man it sounds like you really have that fish finder on lock there. I’m still definitely working on figuring mine out. Every time I think I might have it nailed it laughs at me. I’ll think I’m on a school of monsters and fish the spot for 30 min without a bite lol I really like the way you described the way you’re using it. One day you’ll have to show young grasshopper how it’s done.
  22. lol I made it there once and did exceptionally poorly lol. I really gotta step my smallie game up! I caught my first one just this season but still it feels like I should have a better lock on them. I'm gonna keep trying for them and I'll be making it back to that spot you told me about soon. I'm pretty determined to figure them out while I'm here in Maine! Good to hear from you man! I take it you've been out on the water actually fishing lately instead of online talking about it like the rest of us haha. Hope it's been going well!
  23. Nice video man! Gotta love good swimbait action! Those ospreys seem to be a real hit! Thanks for sharing and nice fish!
  24. Is the closest Cabelas in Portland? That might be a little too far for me right now, and I definitely can't justify driving to MA to get tackle - I have some family in MA though and used to live in Boston for a bit (Before I started back up fishing), If I get down there again soon you know where I'll be headed! For now though, it's pretty much *** for me - Yay Interwebs!!! I'd like to undergo the "BPS Experience" someday though
  25. thanks for taking the time to explain man - I figured it was something like that that I hadnt thought of lol. I really enjoy your posts and vids man it seems like you really have a great time out there and you find the fish!! Great job and thanks again for sharing!
