  1. Wondering if anyone ever messes with this to try and get a little more out of there outboards? I have a 70hp yamaha that tops at 42mph but you can tell its restricted. Any thoughts?
  2. mine did this right before going bad, within a few months of the first issue
  3. mr clean majic eraser works awesome on boat seats
  4. Ok so I replaced the fill pump! I actually had to replace the whole unit not just the motor like I was hoping. So now the livewell pump is working but not the aerator. So was it just dumb luck that they both went out at the same time?...Weird!
  5. hauled my boat up north, dropped it in the water fished for awhile went to use livewell and it wouldnt work. fuse was blown. reset fuse poped after a few min. Filled the livewell up with a container and couldnt get it to aerate either. It's a 2008 sratos 176. Any ideas besides the basic connection stuff. im about to replace the livewell filler pump and realized theres a seperate aeration pump.
  6. Hey Guys I'm going to be in Bonita springs for 7 days starting tomorrow and would absolutly love to wet a Line in Fla waters for bass! I'm 28yrs old very easy going and would be bringing my girlfriend who also loves Bassin! If anyone can point me in a direction of a guide that would be great! Or if anyone is just looking for a partner for the afternoon! Also any idea on fishing liscense fees? Thanks guys
  7. The important part is too believe in your choice! They will all work!
  8. I would recommend a Abu Garcia Vendetta 6'6" med/hvy with a quantum pt catalyst 6:3:1 you can get into it new for about 150-170 at gander mountain its a great all around set up until you find what you like. If you don’t like it you have 90days to return it!
  9. This guy is not my friend he was a friend of a business partner and I did spend 2hrs in my boat teaching him baits and techniques. I guess I was offended when he said Bass trackers are not real bass boats being I started in a jon boat then a tracker and now a stratos. I loved my bass tracker and know a lot of real bass fishers who fish them. Then he iced the cake with "It's not rocket science" Being all the hard work we all put into being successful. I replied “no its biology and u have a long way to go”. I'm the first guy to offer help with fishing or to give people an opportunity to fish as I know so many of you do the same. So I guess it frustrates me an arrogant idiot like this guy is allowed to join such a great past time with great guys. I knew your replies would lighten the mood. Mostly just thought you guys would get a kick out of it!
  10. Maybe I should have titled this- Does this bug you?
  11. O I try! I like the ease of fishing in back. He refuses...probably wouldn't have an excuse then lol
  12. Yeah we are on the same page! i have a buddy who does not fish as confident when in back because he feels everything has been casted even though as you know many times its the 8th 9th 10th cast before you hook up. I always keep him in a good spot.
  13. I know a guy who has caught one bass in his life wich was last week. He decided he wanted to get into bass fishing so i recommended a used bass tracker is a great boat to start with. He replied he wanted a real bass boat and went out and bought a $25,000 skeeter. Then told me bass fishing is not rocket science. This offended me greatly maybe im jealous
  14. How big of a disavantage is fishing the back of the boat compared to the front?
  15. Caught on a 7" gold centipede soft plastic she had bought at a flea market because it looked cool! This was about her 4th cast with it. Texas rigged
