  1. Man, I get excited over 3 pounders. Good stuff.
  2. Nice man, I had a slow start this year too. But once you get a little confidence the fish start eating better for you.
  3. I would throw some sort of soft plastic at a weed line. Keep an eye on the other boaters. They have probably fished there before and know where the bass tend to sit. Try to fish areas like that. As was said a wacky rigged senko(stick worm)will get you bit or a Texas rigged soft plastic of any kind should get you bites.
  4. Bull Sharks in south Florida or if you can afford it Great White Shark in South Africa.
  5. That is awesome! Man that would be a hell of a fight.
  6. Very cool man, I wish could fish on lunch break. I could at least shed a few pounds instead of stuffing my face. Anyway I have caught some good sized crappie on red eye shad, I was really surprised about that too.
  7. Hey man, I have had the same experience with personal bests. Not in the 9lb category but it was my pb and I had no camera. It is not fun and seems to ruin the experience a bit. But just think of all the toads that were caught before it was so convenient to carry a camera with you. No point not believing you, pb's are caught everyday. Now your goal is to go find a bigger bass so you do have your pb on film.
  8. Good Lord, What in the heck is in that water besides giant bass. I bet there are not even 7 double digit bass in Indiana all together. Congrats man
  9. Now see, if well took charge and stood up to people like this woman. Who just ignores laws because it interferes with her so important life. If more people put the $500 smack down on them life in general would be more worth living instead of burying the rage inside until it pops out somewhere it doesn't belong. Bravo to you and keep us posted on more encounters with the useless kind.
  10. Very cool man, the first is is always an awesome one!
  11. What ever you have the most confidence in. Saying that 3'-4' cranks have been doing it around here.
  12. Man those are awesome fish! Good work!
  13. I'll get in.. I can feel a new state record coming my way this year.
  14. no switch, i'm a lefty so it makes that easier.
  15. Well this is good for strike king any way, it like hitting the lottery for them. Who would buy there poorly made hard baits other wise.
  16. Can't beat that kind of action in february, very nice
  17. $17 in the Indiana. $0 for the saltwater license I always have them throw that one on for fun.
  18. I really like those orange bellies a lot!
  19. I am blown away by the number of people that seem to still not know about the Dottie story. It was the first BIG news in like 20 years in a sport that doesn't get that much BIG news. At the time I was just a guy fished once a month maybe and I read the whole story and watched all the videos.
  20. yep. I like them a lot.
  21. Excellent work. I wouldn't throw any of them out of my tackle box.
  22. looks like a BPS tourney special micro vibe.
  23. And I am saying these researchers have proved catchable and non catchable to be heritable. That's it. Now it is up to further research to find out what factors contribute to each characteristic to be expressed. Just like further research was needed to find out the lack of niacin in the cornmeal was the culprit. I can make my own educated assumptions as to why these genes are expressed. And I think everyone else has the right to also. The food chain/ eco-system pressures for behavior are a lot easier to decipher than the cause of disease. We could talk circles about this subject all day but its obvious they will never touch. So, to each there own. I am one who like to encourage people to soak up information and make their own conclusions and you are not. If everyone sat around and waited for someone else to find the answers for them where would we be?
  24. I have to second this.. It's necessary if you want to get the full Shaw Grigsby experience.
  25. I get mine at Gander Mtn... It's one of the few times i have a legit reason to go. And while you are already there why not breeze by the fishing stuff and see how fast you can spend $50. Its a fun little game.
