  1. Great fish RW!
  2. Yea, a 1oz jig works good.
  3. Never enough Juan. The tackle addiction is the price we pay for the sport. A finesse worm - usually 5-6" long, slimmer than other worms with a straight tail. Often fished on a shakey head. Do you have a little of everything listed below? What did I miss? Plastics: craws, worms, grubs, creatures, more worms, more senkos, the whole Rage Tail selection and so on Hardbaits Cranks: shallow, medium depth, and deep divers, rattling and no rattle Suspending Jerkbaits Topwater poppers, gitterbugs, torpedo s spinnerbaits every cool color known to man buzzbaits
  4. I'm not sure about the Mad Paca, never fished it. Been fishing the Rage Hawg since it's release and never searched for a replacement hawg. The size and action is just right imo.
  5. Love it, great job!
  6. Location Location Location. Seeing as the lake produces good limits, if you are only catching dinks it's the wrong place. Main lake points would be a good place to concentrate effort.
  7. Jig/rage craw - Can only guess at the weight but, it's the biggest!
  8. It will work with a fluke.. You can drag or swim, basically any retrieve. The slip shot is really more about the fall imo.
  9. A "mojo" rig is the same as a "slip shot" rig and similar to just crimping a split shot up the line from your bait. Imagine the Carolina rig minus the clicker and in-line swivel. The other difference is your weight gets pegged into position 8-18" above the hook. It's an exceptional rig presenting your bait choice in a different way, very subtle. The baby craw works well on a slip shot rig as do worms and more specifically, the "Space Monkey" and the Eeliminator! This picture shows a Mojo or Slip Shot rig. This is what I use for my slip shot needs. http://store.mojolures.com/mojoluresslipshotkit.aspx Good luck with it, it works great!
  10. Congrats on your recent purchase, you made a good choice. I would take the craw and use it on a T/rig, a stand up jig head, a rage rig (shown below) or as a trailer on your jig. That baby craw is a perfect trailer for a finesse jig, a compact bigger jig and is just amazing rigged alone on a jig head. As for the Jika Rig... the sky is limited only by your creativity. Just match the hook to your bait.
  11. The only time I fish from the front of the boat is when I fish alone. I find the view much better fishing from the back of the boat. Not to mention, it's a lot less work.
  12. I think it can make a huge difference depending on the water clarity, structure etc..... It's just like fine-tuning a color of a soft plastic. It makes the difference between catching fish and catching lots of fish.
  13. Everyone is missing my preffered rigging and the one that should be a secret. The slip-shot rig, especially during spring.
  14. Pretty good apparently. I have been beaned by a returning object but, wow, it's inside him. That's gonna leave a mark.
  15. I ordered from them quite a few times and every time an left scratching my head. Good part is, about the time you begin wondering, your package will arrive from them. I believe they are just slow on the updates to the customer shopping cart.
  16. Sure you didn't ask this question just to gloat, lol. You did fantastic on that deal.
  17. I agree 100% and as long as you are not flexing pressure on the jaw of a heavy fish, it will be fine. I worry more about the guy that throws that fish in the dirt or on the boat deck to get a photo.
  18. No where! No one goes to the lengths Big O does.
  19. Great first four for the season Fat-G, WTG!
  20. Sure was a blast Big O! Amazing how fun fishing can be even when it's cold, wet and windy when you are out with good friends.
  21. Nice job guys. It's really cool to see members meeting up and fising.
  22. I hope and pray that the systems at work will get their act together and make things right BassinSoldier. Keep your chin up and head clear, the world around you can turn around quick.
  23. Thanks for putting that out there!
