All I need is the entire Ragetail Line and some terminal tackle to have a productive day on the water. :
Eeliminator (C/rig to topwater)
Smokin Rooster (T/rig and slow rolling)
Rage craw (all sizes for T/rigs and trailers)
Anacondas
Thumpers
Rage Shad (this is my buzzbait)
Rage Toad
Space Monkey
Rage Hawg
Nose hooking flukes and drifting them on the river for smallmouth bass is the preferred method for many of the smallie anglers in my area. I found that a 1/0 was fine for this application.
Imo, the point of a C/rig is to create a disturbance on the bottom with the weight and as a fish investigates the disturbance, they find your offering trailing behind. Your bait doesn't necessarily need to float, just be there.
The Smokin' Rooster is an incredible bait. I can't begin to tell how many fish I have caught using this bait just this season. As mentioned above, the weighted hook is a great method to fish it. The weighted hook not only provides a seductive fall but, allows you to swim the SM along the bottom or around structure with a greater level of control.
The RageTail baby craw has been hard to beat this season. Fished on a naked jighead or a trailer on a finesse jig, it's been hard to beat in our waters.
