  1. Good to know u can believe what u read on the Internet LOL Officially 200 Bullseye Snakeheads were removed, officially 27 teams fished, officially 520 pounds of fish avg fish 2.6 pounds, the round ups and the awareness they bring to the local community are keeping the population in check, Big thank you to everyone that participates Next Snakehead Round Up is 9-14-2013
  2. The are deep clear rock pits, worm fishing or spinner baits used to work well, not sure if you can use or rent a boat there.
  3. It has been a rough week with honeydo's, but able to get out today with an old friend kill 13 snakeheads and catch and release this beautiful 7 pound Bass. What a way to end the week.
  4. For those of you not clear on the regulations here is the link to the FWC Regulations on the release of non-native fishes in Florida. It really could not be any clearer that non-native fishes should not be released. If you want to hear it form an FWC official July 14th is the next Snakehead Round Up weigh in is at 2pm. If you want more information on the Snakehead Round Up send me a PM, http://www.myfwc.com/fishing/freshwater/regulations/release/ For those pointing out that snakeheads are being fished out of several areas thank you for your observation of the good work we are doing to protect the native fisheries. Thanks for you time Dan

  10. Great times again Shane we always seem to put up a good sack of fish together, I am still not sure where we were, well I know where we were just not what it is called but man was that fun can not wait to do it again.
  11. Can not say what frog I was using but if some friends chime in they will tell you
  12. Fished Lox this past Sunday, the four areas with arrows in the middle are dry, still did well in my 13 Gheenoe nailed a couple 5+ fish ripping a frog, trolling motors are useless there and polled all day but well worth the effort!!!
  13. That was a blast, wish the water was about a foot higher, they were still pumping out when we left at 5pm.
  14. It's Been a long time, love the new look of the site, had to re-set everything. Looking forward to meeting you guys and seeing some of you again, looks like there might be some rain in the forecast next week which will turn the big hawgs on, the evening bite has still been good at Lox 4-6 pounders. See ya All on Friday!!!!!
  15. Thanks Robert, we need to get out one day soon. Shane it was a great time!!!! It was nice to see you get your first fish at Lox, it is one of my favorite places to fish. Just wish I was there more often.
  16. It is all the 25 foot ocean boats running around out there joy riding on Saturday's :. I think those guys should be outlawed from the park we had one guy power up to get on plane just before we passed them going south, no time to slow down. Needless to say we got airborne on their three foot wake. Talked to another guy and the same boat slowed down on them while they were fighting a fish and almost knocked him off the boat with the wake they put up.
  17. We had 7.7 pounds with 5 fish, caught tons of little guys just could not get a big girl to bite, we did not stick around the weigh in to see the rest of the results but from what I heard I think first palce was around 15 pounds, one of the tougher days I have ever had at the park I think I saw you in the back cleaning up the boat, but not sure do you have the green and white triton?
  18. Hey salmicropterus I think we shook hands today, sorry I did not have time to talk, with the issues we were having I hope you understand I did see a tourist back into a trailer, and just kept going and the guy pulling the trailer kept going as well. The funny thing of the day was watching a Park Airboat blast the hat off another guy in the basin
  19. 22 boats today 21 pounds and change won it, we came in 7th, upper three places were in the teens Its going to be a close run tomorrow
  20. Should be 50+ boats Sunday, it's going to be interesting to see who pulls in the big sack, fished yesterday had to work for it but best five right around 15 pounds, had a nice kicker follow a bait up, but pulled it away to keep her mouth fresh for the weekend To place it's going to take 20-25 pounds min, good luck and see ya at the park.
  21. Picked up about thirty 1-2 pounders on the alley today, missed a good one flipping (angler error) :-[ forgot to tighten the drag :-[ Going to be fun out there this year if the water stays low.
  22. We have a Red Nitro, but will not be at the park this Sunday, Maybe Saturday, Getting the boat organized Friday. Just finished cleaning and re-greasing the reels, need to get some new line on a few but other than that I am ready. Had a friend out there today and could not keep the two pounder off the line using Spanky's watermelon red
