Thanks all, My wife and I had a talk with the young man last night and we expressed our concerns with them and what they were doing. I laid out our ground rules and the standards that we have for our daughters. I asked him what his intentions were and why he wanted to date my daughter. He gave his reasons and them I gave him my concerns. I said that in my eyes there are three reasons why you date. 1)SEX 2)Courtship for marriage 3) meaningful relationships with the opposite sex. I let him know that the first 2 were out!! I know some of you disagree with me but I also let him know that if I find that he and my daughter have had sexual intercourse I will press charges. I then went on to tell him that my daughter and her sister are the most precious, and valuable thing in my life next to my relationship to God and my wife and that while they were in open rebellion against us IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER WHILE SHE WAS WITH HIM I WOULD HOLD HIM PERSONALLY RESPONSABLE PERIOD! I gave him a challenge, that if he really loved my daughter and truly cared about her he would be willing to wait for her. After all she turns 16 in the spring of next year. We shall see.

So my 15 year old decided that her mother and I are too repressive so she ran away. We found her that night and upon talking to her we hear that we are unfair and to strict. It boils down to the fact that we had set a standard of our girls not being allowed to date until they turn 16.So I find out that she is seeing a man who is 18 and not going to graduate high school. He is coming over to discuss the situation. I am going to tell him that if I find out that he and my daughter have had intercourse I will have him arrested for statutory rape. it is not the fact that he is a bum that bothers me, its the fact that he is an 18 year old bum. My daughter has told her mother and I that she does not care about our rules, that she is going to continue to date and to date whoever she wants. I would love to get your opinions as to how you guy's would handle this.

Praying for. Is there anything specific we can pray for. I like to give the Father as much info as I can.

After years of poking and proding I finally talked my wife into letting us get a dog. The problem is , now that we can get one I have no idea what to get. We live in a 3 bedroom townhouse with a fenced in yard. I have 1 wife and 2 teenagers. I was thinking of going to the shelter to get one but have heard horror stories. not opposed to getting a pure breed but do not want to spend an arm and a leg. Any suggestions?

Worked at a Hotel in Columbia Md in the early 80's. Merriweather Post Pavillion was right down the street so we got all the big name artists of the time. The following shows were watched backstage with party afterwards: ELTON JOHN...AMAZING SHOW MOODY BLUES CHARLIE DANIELS JOURNEY/REO SPEED WAGON......REDICULOUS:) KANSAS FLOCK OF SEAGULES/THE GO GO'S PETER GABRIAL......UNBELIEVABLE!!! AEROSMITH PAT BENETAR WANG CHUNG THE TUBES,,,ACTUALLY PLAYED GOLF WITH THESE GUY'S...OUTRAGEOUS HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS...SPENT THE DAY WITH THEM....REALLY NICE GUY'S I was the bell captain at the Columbia Inn and it was my job to check in the Bands, make sure all the bags were put in the right rooms and when they checked out I made sure all their gear was put on the bus. I dealt exclusively with the road manager for each group. Boy oh boy could I tell you some stories. I actually had Phil Collins call the Howard County Police on me. ( He accused me of stealing one of his bags...no I did not) All told in 6 years of working at the hotel I saw for free over 150 shows. BEST JOB I EVER HAD

I just got a new laptop and it came with windows8 which so far I cannot stand . Any suggestions on good tutorials other than the Microsoft websight?

Hey all you tech savy people, I need help buying a new laptop. Looking for a good reliable Laptop for under 600 dollars. We will use it for browsing the web, homework assignments, some gaming, watching video's, and maybe streaming movies. All I know about this stuff is to make sure it has at least 4gb of ram which can be up graded to 8 and at least 500 gb hard drive. Is this correct? What kind of processor should I be looking at and will that be determined by price? HELP!

Any computer guys out there? I need your help. All of a sudden my computer is running really slow. trying to view web pages is getting to be a real test of patience. It takes forever to navigate from page to page. Even off line functions are really slow. I ran Norton 360 scans and that was not a whole lot of help. Any suggestions?

Need some advice. I am going to be buying a baitcasting rod in the next few weeks and only have a hundred bucks plus tax to spend. This will be a rod I use for everything. What in your opinion is the best rod for the job?
