  1. I remember you posting about it and your thread when it drained. Glad you'll get to catch some more fish out of there someday soon.
  2. Maybe throw a little bigger bait out there.
  3. I should be going out to the lake soon and I may try and do some bass fishing. Since it's summer time I know the bass like to suspend around structures fairly deep in the water. Just how deep should I look for the bass and should we position ourselves right on top of the structure then drop a Trigged plastic down to the bottom? Also should I stay in contact with the bottom for a few bounces or reel it up slowly with some jerks?
  4. I recieved some Costa 580p sunglasses about a year ago as a gift. They are kinda pricey but you won't be disappointed, as they are amazing.
  5. With all those weeds I'd try and throw something right at the edge or drop a weedless plastic right down in that junk because a lot of times bass will hide under that stuff to get away from the sun. Your best bet is to fish a little slower and in deeper water though.
  6. The only thing I gained from that video is you should apply an ice cold Bud Light to the wound.
  7. I'm 20 and just bout the only guy I fish with is my old man. Got one buddy I go with a good bit, but that's about it.
  8. Love the video of the gator goin for yalls baits.
  9. If the pond doesn't get too deep I'd throw a trick worm on top of that crap. Those bass will come up through there and slam it if you make enough commotion. It's also good to throw and just let it sink in the holes where the "snot" isn't present.
  10. Nice catch man. Where did ya catch it and what did ya use?
  11. Well now that baseball is wrapped up for me this year and college is out for the summer, I've got the chance to hit the local ponds a little bit. I've caught around 30 bass in the past week or so down here in SC. I'm hoping that this summer is the one I catch that elusive double digit bass, but here's just a couple of pictures of the fish my dad and I caught yesterday. The first fish is 3.5 lbs and was caught on a white trick worm. The 2nd is right around 2 lbs maybe a tad more and was caught on a black trick worm.
  12. 3.5 to 4 lbs, very similar to a fish I have in my picture
  13. I get Crappie bites on my T-Rigged worms all the time man. Haven't managed to hook one yet but I feel them pop at it all the time at a local reservoir I go to.
  14. I sure wish I could tear them up like you do man.
  15. That's one good looking pond. Nice catches.
  16. 4lb Test? Gotta give props to ya my man. Nice job.
  17. I've even had success just reeling the trick worm at a fairly decent pace and watching it swim like a snake. I do that and let it sit for a couple seconds to sink then reel some more just like that. I use a T-rig when doing this, and if its rigged right you'll see the snake like motion it makes.
  18. The head on that fish is almost disgustingly huge.
  19. Wish we could have water temp and weather temp like that. Last time out at the lake the water temp was 88-91 througout the day.
  20. I would just redo the motor. Get a new carb put in and whatever else needs done. If you know the right person it won't cost you that much and you'll have extra money to spend as you please as well.
  21. Definately frogs or trick worms for the lilypads and I would throw a t-rigged weedless worm along the edge of the reeds/lily pads to try and lure the fish out from under there
  22. I got one and the transducer didn't work. The clamp didn't hold it tight on our jon boat, and it wobbled wildly with the trolling motor on. If your using it for a kayak or inflatable it may fair better.
  23. We have a 14.6 ft jon boat with a 20 HP Evinrude on it. Yeah you'll rock but it suits me and one other just fine. We love it.
  24. Got the actual weight. 11.7 lbs. And here's another picture....
  25. Great looking boat man
