Heres my setup I put in my 1648 jon!
One of those on each side lets you take 8 rods, and If you bring RW on a trip he can show you haw to bring something like 30!
Jeff
I have a g loomis rod for sale in the classifieds that would suit what you asking for great. I'm asking 125 shipped and that is like buying a $100 rod and paying taxes or shipping. Rod originally cost me $165 and I have only used it for 4 trips.

No currrent. Mainly just wind. So I would need to always start with the bow towards the wind to try and make sure the stern didnt swing while trying to fish? If I am going with the wind and the bow is away from the wind, hit the spot lock, and the spot lock will swing boat around and face into the wind? Also once the bow is into the wind and the spot lock is engaged, if the wind blows the stern, will the spot lock straighten it back up, or ???? Sorry for all of the questions, but I have never used one or been on a boat with one, but think it might be the answer to my wind problems being I have a aluminum boat!
Jeff
Anyone that has an I-pilot or similar trolling motor, I have a question for you! When you use the "spot lock" feature, does just the bow of the boat stay in the same position when being blown by wind, or does it keep the entire boat in the same position? I guess what I am asking is, does it blow the rear of the boat around and just keep the nose in the same spot or not?

Anyone have a fishing report? Mississippi is messing up my honey hole for a while and until shad are all gone, can't make it to the pickwick/tn river! Looks like we will try out glen springs if they are biting there! Anyone?
Jeff
Making it over to the White is a blast. But I will warn you, be prepared to make several trips a year because it is that addicting! Most of our browns were caught on puff flies but some were caught drifting shad! We caught 16 in all(1.5 days of fishing), plus alot of rainbows getting in our way! Haha!
went to the White river this weekend with my fiance and had a blast slaying the browns....... I'm a bass fisherman at heart but German Brown Trout have to be the absolute prettiest fish EVER!!!
And a Pretty Bow as well.....
My best retrieve is steady reel with a complete stop and repeat about 4 times each cast. Stop for a complete second when you do. If that doesn't work try all other retrieves.
On a side note, make sure to stock up on extra hooks so when you bend one you can replace it and not trash it.
Someone will chime in on the size of the hooks for each model.......

Not Daily's! Not even island 40, but it is in Arkansas! Its actually a private club I am a member of just north of Horseshoe!

RW was looking awfully dapper in his ?"orvis"? jacket paired with Shimano hat!!!
