    28 Ga.

28ga is my favorite to shoot! Makes doves a challenge! They also pattern very well as compared to .410 and even 20 ga. Jeff

Mine has the hook, and I hook it through the gills but am particularly careful not to get a gill in the way! If you hook it in the most upper part of the gill slit, you can avoid getting any gills and also avoid hurting the fish! Jeff
  6. November and Decmeber are a no go for me (work), and next years fishing trips are booked ( feb for big browns on the White river and end of April first of May to Mexico for DD) so maybe the following year I could get up there! Sounds like a blast! Jeff
  7. OK, so when do I get the invite to come catch some of those biguns....??
  8. Oh man, how I'd love to hook into a brown that big!! Jeff
  9. The thing that makes my Blaser so nice is it fits me! Mechanical triggers, best balance ever! I have owned many sporting shotguns, including Krieghoff, and wouldn't trade my Blaser for any of them! Shooting my old Krieghoff
  10. Nice story and awesome picture! Don't give up! You will catch an even bigger one I'm sure! Jeff
  11. Thats kind of what I fugured...... I live in Memphis and I have survived here for 28 years so we should be alright! LOL Jeff
  12. I understand. I got the chance while shooting in a squad at the US OPEN to shoot a gentleman's $120k Krieghoff. It was nice, but not for the price. I guess it was all the engraving and gold inlays! Jeff
  13. Kill em all! By any means necessary (legally) Jeff
  14. Make the fence opening bigger. Then you can put it in the backyard! Jeff
  15. Fluke you have a h&h? My favorite is my Blaser F3 sporting clays gun. But i have a couple others too..... Jeff

  23. I had actually read through that entire post before and have thought long and hard about it! Talked to the owner of the lodge and he lives in the city that I would be flying into, Los Mochis. He has never had a problem, and promised it would be ok! Tentatively planned for next May! I can't wait! Jeff
  24. I mainly fish, but I also shoot sporting clays! In turn, my shooting instructor took me on my first 2 hunts this past year, one dove and one duck! So I think I will be shooting more birds this year and from now on!
  25. I have been a member of the BR family for one year today, and all I can say is thanks to everyone for all of the useful reading and entertainment. Glad I found ya'll and hope to be here for a LONG time to come! Jeff
