I have already called and got this under-way. Problem is, this was the full grip, recoil guide good rod, and the new replacement ones are not..... Jeff

Not a custom(thank goodness). But might end up one now. That was an older model( the better one) BCFR894 GLX. Jeff

Just a reminder. When you saddle a new reel onto a rod to spool it up with line, make sure your dog(s) are in the other room and don't get tangled in the line. Jeff

@desmobob I had NEVER changed a reel handle until I got my first Hawgtech. If that tells you anything! Jeff

That is a swept 102 Hawg Tech with cork knobs. I think I have over a dozen now. By far my favorite upgrade on a reel. A little pricey, but well worth it in my opinion. Makes for a nice customization of each reel and they are solid. Ever since I tried my first, I have been steadily upgrading each reel I have plus always budgeting in the extra for each new reel I buy. Robert and Mike have done a wonderful job with their creations and have always taken good care of me- even when I had a small problem a while back- it was taken care of and then some very quickly!
