  1. On here they have the usual model #,bearing count, gear ratio, reel weight, line capacity. They also have Description and Specification bar to click on for feature list of particular reel--- http://www.pinnaclefishing.com/shop/p-139-optimus-xihs.aspx#page=page-1 click on the blue right arrow to go to next reel Schematics http://www.pinnaclefishing.com/shop/t-partsdiagram.aspx
  2. A guy on here claimed power pro super8slick grooved a couple of his RECOIL tip guides.
  3. .19227oz 5.451g WATERMELON SLICE COLOR
  4. Yes and No on this just depends on that particular cast. On long casts many times there is NO thumb needed til water contact, line may run a bit during the cast but letting it work its way out is possible. This is where familiarity/experience come into play. On short fast casts thumbing feathering the spool may come into play more.
  5. I have a SK Rocket Shad spinnerbait rated at 1/4oz and actual is .2409oz its a bit smaller than a regular spinnerbait though. For a couple Rage tails Anaconda 10" .5116oz Thumper 10" .54205oz My 6" senkos .57658oz For the Ikas, SIF3.8, salty core stick 5" mine are right with your weights webertime
  6. Fat Ikas Keitech (Fat) Swing Impact Rapala Rippin Raps
  7. on a finesse baitcaster I assume
  8. I used 10/2 powerpro(10lb test-2lb dia) for quite a few years on one of my baitcasters. Senkos, lipless cranks, spinnerbaits, anything really. I use it with Spro frog to catch at the time my PB bass from slop pictured below and had to get it over the limb as well
  9. Check the hook sharpness, Ive had a couple LT frogs with less than ideal points. For times that the bass strikes and misses dont panic or reel in quickly just stop for a second recoup and give twitch again you may get hit a second third time. Or if in slop or thick vege have another rig set-up with a falling lure like senko, you get a strike that missed follow with senko throw it in the hole created by strike bass could be waiting below
  10. And you would be correct again. Big whoop if a small handful of some(myself included) use casting for finesse. On this site the super majority will go spinning. Out of 40000 plus members not 2% probably use casting finesse so a ? concerning finesse goes to spinning unless specified.
  11. Ive had quite a few Costas Oakleys Revo Maui Jim glasses and I go for what fits the best on my head. I want comfort and want the frames to block out most if not all peripheral light. Oakley is the only brand so far that has a few styles that do this. After about 8 Costas I gave up on them too many small frames and frames that dont seal out the light well.
  12. mono 10/105, 12/85, 14/70 braid 20/115, 30/105, 40/80
  13. Im guessing he uses one of these
  14. I grabbed my Core50 and took the handle, nut, drag star and spool off of it (gotta be an ounce lighter) and put it on some of my rods. The lighter the rod the better the feel in hand. Smoke rod felt the best and Helios right there. The heavier rods like *** Crucial LTB didnt feel the greatest the Crucial LTB for sure cause the balance was off the most. I need to get something with my$300 giffcards at Gander so will be waiting for 1. they get them and 2. a sale they usually have like $50 off $400 spent or $100 off $500 and get Ald and another smoke rod.
  15. I think tourny wise 8' is the limit??? so if youre a bass angler wanting to compete your your rods wouldnt be allowed. I have an 8' spinning rod that is 3.6ozs I use for senkos spinnerbaits small cranks once accustomed to length accuracy isnt hindered. It is my favorite stick for senkos now. Ive also used 9-10' crappie poles for bass launching spinnerbaits senkos but mostly the length helps me reach over shoreline brush thats on embankments of certain lakes I fish.

  19. How much did Suggs win? We watched this at work and people asked me how much but I have no idea dont follow MLF.
  20. Well Im 100% very pleased with these eagle claws weedless red hooks. They are my go to hook for wacky senko rigging. They dont rust out like the bare ones do. Was used to get my PB last year. My other most used technique is for Ikas and brands range Gammy Deep Throat, Trokar TK110 and VMC Fast Grip wide gap.
  21. senkos are the best always will be nothing compares to them. And Bama Bug is the bestest color of all senkos as well.
  22. 4lbs 5oz 5" bama bug senko
