  1. Per Rules& FAQ's: Deliberate attempts to circumvent the filters will be met with a suspension and/or a permanent ban. They have been banned from site and are not to be discussed. What you did is circumventing the filter and you could be banned.

  3. I threw a bama bug colored senko to a bass, I could see, over 10 times and it didnt strike. Changed to a watermelon/lemon laminate senko and it hit the first cast, was it the color change???
  4. These caugth with 8' ML/Mod Avid
  5. 30# .011"dia braid will be fine for all around use and occasionally frogs.
  6. I bought a Daiwa a Shimano and a Lose at the same time. The Lose had issues the first outing and continued to get worse over the next few weeks. Returned the Lose kept the Daiwa and Shimano they have been trouble free.
  7. Ahh today here was on/off light rain very windy and a bit chilly for most of the morning til afternoon. I was the only one at the lake fishing and 12 bass 1 pike got to meet me.
  8. I guess that would help huh 15 pound test mono 14 pound test braid 15 pound fluoro the numbers represent the pounds at which the line or knot broke. Here is an example of testing and they mention line use

  10. probably just change the sticker and charge $20 more for same rod.
  11. There is nothing that keeps me from getting a longer rod now if I want one. Just cause pros cant use them doesnt mean I cant. Ive thrown senkos lipless cranks on 9'-10' rods already. People that limit their use to what pros use are just being lemmings. The fish though might like the little extra leverage advantage they will be getting.
  12. wacky senko. My most productive hour ever(public waters) with any bait was a wacky senko.
  13. Smackdown isnt any stronger dia vs dia to other braids. 30 pound smackdown holds to about the strength of 20 pound super8slick they both are .009 dia. S8S still a bit stronger though. Holds true in my findings with 40#(.011)smackdown vs 30# s8s (.011). Smackdown is a bit noisier and more $$$ as well, not really sure what a person gets for the premium price, get it while its on sale.
  14. Same here. my Lose BB1 Pro was a dud even before it dudded out it didnt perform as well as tatula or my curados chronarchs. That said even my tatula rarely gets used just not liking the reel all that much but the price I got it for cant be beat.
  15. Out of 10-12-16 pound that I have used I prefer 16#.
  16. Look on the back of the can. The spray I use CRC Brakleen is Acetone with isomers of heptane & CO2.
  17. It might not be THE ned rig but its A ned rig one of about a dozen variations of the ned rig mentioned in Ned rig in depth video.
  18. Seems like timsford is using the drag technique that Ned talks about.
  19. I must be lucky and got good shroomz hooks cause no issue with them. I use trd and 1/20-1/10-1/5 hook-ups are great this using 8' ML/moderate rod nanofil line. I use same rod/reel set-up with excellent success throwing wacky senkos.
  20. Ive only tried nanofil(not a braid) and like it very much. The knot I use has gained me 50% over the recommended knot for 6# test and 40% gain with 8#. Ive not lost a fish(bass) since going different knot(save for a pike bite off). The Double Palomar(nanofil knot) was weak and is a poor choice for the line. My main use for bass is with wacky senkos dragging on bottom. I also will use 4" paddletails at times.
  21. Ohh yes Smoke will work with Keitechs. A 1/4 jighead with 3.8" Fat My Pb was using the above and the 7' M/F Smoke rod Curado 50E and 12# Sniper FC
  22. Both
  23. Can still get them though -on sale too- stock up.
  24. The Kickerfish Tail Slapper is more durable and nearly identical looking see the fatter one is the keitech
  25. I much prefer braid over mono. The best use for mono is as backing for braid. Cant really think of what else to use mono for that fc or braid wont cover in my uses.
