I have a ML-Mod rod thus reason for asking about yours. And just bought 1/4 tube jigheads and tubes. Its nice to see the rod bend on mod actions adds to the play/fight.
Im very thick skinned to a fault just dont care to see a review that was well put together put down (as I felt) by a biased person (you). Now you say it was in jest so Ill take it as that, just your comment from your brain to the words posted, the meaning got lost in translation, no biggie all's well.
St Croix sale still going on $161 each-- LTBC70MM for your crankbaits, LTBS69MLXF for unweighted plastics

Not the latest NSI versions though just so you know.
On the main small lake I fish I rarely catch SM(dont target them) only like 3 last year but I caught 2 in one day using a ragetail baby craw on a 2/0 hook with splitshot. That sort-of tells me they like that bait.
I had a 18" bass on and use 10# braid, at shore there are rocks and the line just touched a big rock and snap no real rubbing or drag across the rock basically touch /snap. Luckily the fish stuck between that big rock and another rock so able to grab it get my hook back.
Something to ponder---Fish dont seem to mind all those wires connected to the lures on an Ala Rig why would they worry about the line connected to a jig.
Nice review 21farms
Relative to the length, power, action, price these rods are a bit on the heavy side. Dont know why that pantera guy has to attack you personally thats uncalled for. All Abu rods to me are on the stif feeling side. How about your 6'9"ML-Mod-F is that stif for its rating you think?
Gander Mountain having sale like DSG has had --50% of red tag clearance items.
They had a rack of rods like 20 Shimano Clarus, Convergence, Voltaeus rods. I picked a Clarus 7' MH Fast casting got it for 30 bucks sweet. Some SK coffee tubes SK ocho SK caffine shad-- $1.50each
The rod rack didnt actually have label stating such. Over in the tackle dept there was a section with plactics where the label was 50% clearance off red tag- fishing lure & accesories. I took the rod for price check and yep offer applied.
I havent had any issues with my Smoke rod. It was the only casting rod I used last year so it got used a lot. Havent really read about this issue with other owners neither.
IF they have them in stock for the sale.
Im wondering. If I trade-in a reel, get that voucher, and they dont have the JMC reel I want can I get my traded reel back?

I guess it depends on the company. St Croix Avid I broke twice each time it was $30 shipping & claim in a week had rod back to me. On a $200 rod to get it replaced for $30 thats fine with me.To buy a $70 rod next day have it break and out-of-luck might never buy that companies product again.
Braid on all mine-- 8# on spincasters, underspins,,spinning. 10# on 2 baitcasters and 20# on another baitcaster. Brands Stren Super braid, Power Pro, Sufix Performance.
I use both but one thing on the L&L that I dont like is the spray pattern it is too dispersed need to be more concentrated. I want it to go where it is pointed not all over the place.
This spray is from 3inches away
nothing in the center

Well that weight difference isnt much to be able to notice but with say a SK Bitsy Bug 1/8oz/craw to 1/2oz/craw football jig the reading of the bottom will be transmitted better by the 1/2oz jig. The lighter jig set-up will not contact a rock, stick, pebble, any transition as hard as the heavier jig. Lighter might float over giving less feedback fall slower like K_Mac mentioned meaing when it does contact its not contacting as hard so not as much feedback sent to rod. Ive fished both set-ups on the same rod and notice a difference. To take to extreme a feather falling on your arm you might not notice but a penny falling on your arm you will/should.
Yes and I would say most of the people I see at the local lake use spinning for everything cranks spinnerbait jigs you name it.. The lake is 26acres and can walk around it. I carry both BC & Spin with me, very seldom will I notice another with/using BC.
Is that ad banner next to the BassResource blocked for you now(not viewable) I think that is what the error is blocking???
I went ahead and click view blocked content and the ad banner is there now.
just went to the other sites that had same error--No longer getting error message but the same type of ad banner as has always been on them.
