  1. Yes very stretchy. Didnt get to try them out and most likely wont(weather) til next year. What I have tried and caught fish with so far-rattlin, hawg, ocho, yammy, stinger.
  2. SK Rage NED Cut-R
  3. Id be pleased if it was just tackle/lures but its reels rods line as well that never get used. NRX meh yeah I said it, H3 ugh, LTB phooey, cumara ho-hum. Yep thats a Core50mg7 on the floor over there with cobwebs on it. 50E SV105 Tat &Tat SV T3 Smoke S3 all work just dont get used. Well the S3 doesnt get used cause it buzzes loudly on hard casts so it will just waste away. Its all about the flavor of the day when something new gets bought the old toys just get pushed down the bench. There has been a couple standouts that have surpassed my expectations and go on every outing even after 10+ years of use that being Quantum Smoke casting rod and Avid spinning rod.
  4. I wont mind if you are correct on the ticklerz. Out of the several neds I have tried the TRD's arent the best producer for me. Actually disappointed given the amount of time throwing them.
  5. Got a variety of ned worms to try out. angler choice ned hawg jackall yammyfish spro sukura worm damiki stinger googan rattlin ned (been using) Molix stick flex TRD tickler-z SK ocho ned
  6. Balance right at the reel seat locking nut. Hardly any difference between the 25 and 30 maybe 1/8" but rods pretty light and also not that long, balance not a concern with either reel.
  7. Yes sort of interlocking and also keyed inside passing through the threads.
  8. here is link to pres xt le shipping was quick too ordered 4pm Thursday got it Noon Saturday. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/pflueger-president-xt-limited-edition-spinning-reel?searchTerm=Pflueger President XT Limited Edition
  9. My new ned rig rod was delivered today a Poison Adrena 6'7" ML/F. Also ordered 2 President XT LE reels a 25 and 30 sizes.
  10. I bought 2 of them just got them Saturday a 25 and a 30
  11. Not a fan. Had a Tour S3 made quite the noise while casting. Sent it in and they sent me the downgraded Smoke S3 and yep same noise on cast so pretty much dont use it wasted my money.
  12. Elite tech bass I purchased was not that great weight balance and sensitivity not good. I returned it and got good deal on World Class model much happier with that buy.
  13. Medicating the pain is pretty much useless (hiding the issue) and can harm your body in other ways. Maybe your casting style is triggering your discomfort in some way. If your back only acts up when fishing then there is something about your movements causing the issue. More stretching before & during fishing could be of some benefit. BTW welcome to the club.
  14. Gen1 Quantun Smoke 7' m/f casting rod.
  15. On rods, Ive been more disappointed with my $300-$600 higher-end purchases and more impressed with my $100-$200 mid tier buys. So far as fishing gear is concerned I dont buy the adage "You get what you pay for."
  16. I dont believe a word of this.
  17. Use 10# braid quite often. Just balance the combo accordingly meaning dont overpower the line with a heavy powered rod. Go with ml to med powered rod. Use for ned rigs senkos .25 or so spnnerbaits paddle tails with buzzbaits being about the only topwater otherthan using a frog here and there. Get the base on tight and dig isnt as big of an issues as people make it out to be if it was I wouldnt have used it for nearly 20 years on bc reels.
  18. The Googans rattlin ned is my favorite ned style bait out of the 15 or so styles Ive tried.
  19. Too loud for my liking not smooth compared to other 8 strands Ive tried.
  20. This here without a doubt. At this price point going $100 more on the rod will produce more gains than going up in price on a spinning reel.
  21. order already in
  22. fishnfool head to head vs palomar I forget the pound test of lines used
  23. Yep bought Daiwa SV105 reel and Shimano cumara rod and got the discount.
  24. 8' Medium light moderate rod and 8# nanofil, sure can sling those small lipless and the bend in the rod keeps them pinned.
