  1. It is a terrible shame that someone can so dramatically misinterpret a simple message such as catch and release, you are right, catch and release is not a law, but for a serious fisherman with a true sense of sportsmanship it shouldn't have to be. and as for your comment on people trying to get you to go out and buy things, as glenn stated, their not making you buy anything, it is just advertising. However I'm sorry that you have been offended.
  2. My new favorite rod and reel is a Dobyns champion series 734cfh and an Abu Garcia REVO stx. it's a lightweight, sleek, sensitive and good looking combo.
  3. Congrats man!! I'd say she's a solid 5 or 5.5
  4. yep, i also think that its a pickerel
  5. I agree with ww2farmer, the bandit 300 is an awesome crankbait!
  6. My favorite jig by far is the D&L Tackle baby advantage jig, the baby advantage jig weighs 5/16oz. however they do make a regular advantage jig also. their jigs hook fish easily and usually keep them hooked, D&L has a great selection of colors, sizes and styles of jigs. check em out!
  7. Where did you get them from? I've been trying to find tungsten heads FOREVER!!!
  8. I recommend the Buckeye spot remover (i prefer the one with the peg instead of the spiral keeper), i also use the gambler giggy head.
  9. Thanks for the suggestion, is the 705cb glass rod sensitive enough to feel the bait hitting the bottom? (that is the reason that i have never owned a glass rod before)
  10. I'm trying to decide on witch dobyns cranking rod to buy so i was just curious what you guys would recommend. I want a rod that will throw small deep divers like the bandit 300 series. i am considering either a 705cb witch is a graphite rod, or a 705cbmf witch is a moderate fast action glass rod please let me know if you have any suggestions.
  11. This guy must get paid to say 'um'.
  12. sweet, gotta love the SPRO frog!!!
  13. No, not a sucker, we call them creek chubs around here in SO-KY.
  14. I have pitched with carrot stix for a while now, and recently purchased a Powell 765 and i am BLOWN AWAY!!!the action, weight, and balance of this rod are AWESOME, look into a Powell, you wont be disappointed.
  15. What is your favorite brand of fluorocarbon to use for finesse applications (I.E shaky head, wacky rig, flick-shake)?
