Rolipoli Fishead

I was fishing with my dad the other day and he had a bass spit his jig out right at the boat. I saw where he was casting and threw in there about 4 or 5 times and caught the same fish, I believe anyway. It was still bleeding from the upper lip which is where he hooked it. I think they just head for a place that feels comfortable and safe to them.

I caught a minnow while throwing a crankbait once. Speared it through the side with one of the prongs on the rear treble. It was about 3/4" in size.

I grew up fishing in northern Illinois but haven't done it much in the past 20 yrs. Since moving to western Kentucky I've picked up the habit again. Nice having two major lakes right in your backyard. The information here has been a real help.
