6 packs of Ribbet frogs (various colors, mostly greens) 2 packs of frog hooks- size 4/0 I still have more tackle than I'll ever use in my lifetime.

I'm a firm believer in attractants, especially MegaStrike. I've tried using a little and a lot. I find I'm having about the same results either way. The only thing using a lot does is waste a good product . I do as Bobby suggests and most often just use a "dab". I received my recent order from them today consisting of 4 new tubes. I crawfish, 1 garlic and 2 original. I have also tried the spray on type and find them messy and unpleasant overall to use. MegaStrike is about as simple to use as it can get, and no mess. The little film remaining on my finger, I just rub into and onto my hands to mask any human odors I might transfer to my bait(s). I never tried JJ's and have heard a lot of people singing their praises. If I ever see it around, I'll probably pick some up and give it a try. I've just never taken the time to order any since I've been using MegaStrike with such good results.

Kicker, that's exactly how mine were doing. You are a very wise man. Looks great and so does your cover. Where did you get it from? Looks like something that will last more than a couple of years, like the ones I've been buying. The one I have now was purchased from Gander Mountain and is holding up fairly well. Got it done already and used the method I described above. No problems and looks good. Thanks to you and mudcart for the input. Maybe I can help you and others in the future.

Thanks for the reply. I like my stuff to look as good as possible and replacing decals will help keep it looking great. I've always tried to keep anything I've spent after-taxes dollars on in the best shape I can. Just makes me feel better. Know what I mean. It has zero to do with trying to fool the local authorities and everything to do with feeling good and looking good while enjoying a day on the water.

I'm about to remove and replace my outboard motor decals and was curious whether anyone here has any advise. This will be my first time. Appears to be simple enough. This is how I plan to do it. Remove old decals using a hair dryer to soften the old glue being very careful not to get it too hot. The old decal will become brittle if too much heat is used. Peel slowly and should come off with very little effort. Use just enough heat to peel off the old decal. Clean cowl with alcohol, wet both cowl and backside of decal surfaces with a dishwashing detergent and water solution, position decal and tape in place using one piece of masking tape down the middle, peel paper from half of the backside of decal. Now slowly lay it down on the apppropriate spot using a squeegee and working from the center out to the edge. Don't allow decal to touch cowl until you go to smooth it into place Smooth out all water, soap and bubbles from the center out and wipe and dry surfaces. Repeat same for the other half, Small decals can be done as a whole. Wet, apply, squeegee, from center out to remove soap, water and bubbles. Finish by then peeling the top protective film at a sharp angle being careful enough not to undo your decal. Am I missing something or does that about cover it? Thanks

Hi 78. I too fish the area you've discribed and find it very relaxing and fun. There are several areas in our part of Florida that I really like. I've been fishing in and around Trout Creek and Black Creek for some time now and have had a pretty good time.Hope you enjoy your stay here. I don't post too often but I do like to read and see what my fellow fishermen are doing. What do you fish out of? I have an '04 V18 Tournament Bass Tracker w/ a 90 4-stroke Mercury and it's everything I need to fish the way I like. Gets me to and from real nice. I do research on real estate titles for insurance purposes. I go to different courthouses and search the public records for title evidence so as to issue title insurance policies. I've been in the Title Insurance industry for more than 36 years. I surely didn't intend for my username (handle) to imply my level of fishing. Believe me, I'm certainly no where near as good a bass fisherman as that would take. Heck, I've never even entered a tournament and don't belong to any clubs either. I fish with friends and wife occassionally but, most of the time alone. Quite peaceful and thoroughly relaxing. I like this thread.

I have a pair of Rocky "Aqua Guard" waterproof snake boots that leak and was hoping someone on here knew what to do to keep them from doing this. I don't wear them that often and that probably is why they leak now. I can't find a hole or where the water comes in. I wore them one day and they were find the second day, a small amount in one and the third day, both had more than a little water in them. Really ticks me off but, I'm sure it's from not wearing them very much or often. Use it or lose it sort of thing, I guess. Would putting Scotch-Guard on them work? I am at a loss as to how to fix or repair them. Any help would be appreciated. I really like them but, they are no good for their intended use as they are. I know,..... I could just use them on dry land but, that's not the only way I want to use them.
