I would like to say Thank-you for your time in posting that. I found it very informative and enlightening. I'm not a GOOD fisherman I think but I do fish over 250 days a year and have a few good friend s at some of the local bait shops on the lake but I probably want get sponsered.. I guess I didn't post an intro. Here it is.. I'm 25. married and have 2 dogs. I fish over 250 days a year and love it. I've caught some big one, and I've caught some little ones but I just really love to fish..lol I don't own a boat and don't really mind paying $20 and riding with a buddy of mine. If anyone's aroung Lake Norfork or Bull Shoals in NC Arkansas, let me know and well hook up or something. ~JGraham

Yea thats what I got but the type is so small that I can barely read it let alone go by it to put mine together..If it was in better detail I would of used it a long time ago. Thanks anyway for the help. ~JGraham

My avatar is a catch I got on Thursday. As for the reel... I had it working for a few minutes but then I pulled the line thru the eyes and tied on a crank and it dosen't work now..I think I'm just gonna quit. This is starting to give me a head ache. JGraham

I would like to first of say that I took my reel apart cause it wasn't working right...With that said..here I go. My reel is a Shimano B-Mag1000..It's an older reel but worked really good last season. I got it out of storage and went to the lake to get some casting in to loosen up. I let it rip and I hear this awful noise coming from it and I get no distance what so ever. I was thinking the ball bearings were going out so I tore the whole thing down(except all the little gears) and gave it a good cleaning and oiling. Put it back together and now the spool will not spin and the retriever want do it's job. I have taken it apart many times trying to get it to work. It will work while it's aprt, but once everything goes back on it says NO..lol Any help?? If someone can help me out as seeing as my spinner rod/reel is starting to fray lines :'( and I don't have the cash for a new reel. Thanks JGraham

Bull Shoals is really hot right now..There hitting hardest in the morning on top-water baits and going deeper after about 9 and hitting Texas rigs with worms and lizards. If your coming in mid June I'd be glad to show you around and there are ALOT of guides here that are very experienced. Lake Norfork is another very good lake around here but it's harder to fish because of the sheer drop offs and if you don't know where to go, you probably want catch anything. Stripers are runnning the shad as well as the bass and the big bass are hitting between 4 and 8am. Wish ya luck. Jeff

I'm a non-boater and would like to join a club. The only one I have found close by is one pertaining to stripers...I don't have to gear for that..lol I'm still on Google and hunting but have come up with nothing. Anybody know of any?? ~Jeff

Just wanted to say hey and I'm glad to be here. Been fishing Lake Graham in Tennessee for 15 years and moved to Arkansas a couple years back and been fishing Lake Norfork and Bull Shoals ever since. I mainly fish for bass but I just really like to fish..lol Glad I'm here and look forward to being here when I'm NOT fishing..lol ~Jeff
