What size hooks are you guys using for this mold? I cant decide if #1 or 1/0 will be better for me. I plan on using the smaller size molds with finesse trd and trd tubez as baits.

The bass club I am in has decided to try a few different fisheries this year. Our next stop is on the Susquehanna river. We will be launching out of Linden Pa. I plan on making a trip up on Friday to do some prefishing. For someone who has never fished a river before, what are some things I need to know? Thanks for the help

I was recently given a boat for free by a member of our church. The boat is a 1972 fourteen foot tri-hull. It has been sitting in a barn for the last 15 years. The boat came with a 25 hp Johnson that did not run. I just added a 7.5 hp evinrude and got all the paper work done for the boat and trailer. The only thing it needs now is a trolling motor. The other day I purchased a Motorguide x3 45lb thrust 12v foot controlled motor. I started looking at how I could mount it and I am a little concerned. The top of the boat is thinner than the mount for the motor. My question is could I mount it on the deck? The deck is approx. 5-6 inches below the top of the boat. Would this give me enough room to be able to lift the motor into and out of the water? Any other suggestions would help out too. Thanks

Thanks for the tips! I've been scouting this property out on google earth and there is a fairly long driveway leading to the owners house. I have been reading up on gaining permission and some people say that people might not be okay with driving right up to the house. Should I drive up and ask or maybe park further back away from the house and then walk up?

I just learned of a farm pond that is loaded with bass. My buddies got permission to fish it. How would I go about getting permission as well...knock on the door?? How do some of you guys do it? Thanks for the info

Anyone use YZ Hybrid for jigs? If so, how does it perform?

I just purchased a new combo for fishing jigs this year. I ended up with a 7ft 3in duckett ghost and a 7.1:1 pro qualifier. I'm mainly going to use this for all around jig fishing (casting, pitching, swimming.) I live in PA where we have a variety of cover (rocks,docks,wood,grass.) What would you guys suggest for line to use? Straight braid, braid with leader, flouro, copolymer?? Thanks for the help

I have a garmin echo 100 on my small jon boat and I really like it. It's nothing special, but it gets the job done. Out of all the cheap fishfinders out there, this one is by far the best and easiest to use.
