  1. NICE Tracker 175!
  2. Chasing women.
  3. Lots of fish, only one in the boat. Good prefish bait.
  4. understand, not bad. Let us know if it runs true.
  5. WOW. That Bing birds eye is pretty nice. Thanks.
  6. Being a diehard Bears fan, I would like to talk them up more for the big win over the cowgirls....however it was not the Bears that beat them,...no, they lost all by themselves with no help from anyone.
  7. This time of year the fronts will not have that large of an effect temperature speaking as water will not change like the air around us. The change in behavior should more come from barometric changes. All in all, if you are fishing after the front, and there is a large change in either pressure, temperature, or both- fish in deeper water are less affected by it, and I would tend to fish there.
  8. I just hope the seniors don't win in this thread. I would hate to start seeing peppermint candy advertisements at the top of each page. BTW, how are those Buicks work backing the boat down the ramp?
  9. sorry i have no idea, i did want to comment though that i have the same exact set up, 75 opti on the 175txw and i also, love it!
  10. I have a 175txw and was out the past couple evenings in about 17mph wind. It was a pain, but still managed to fish, just ran into the wind the whole time. It has me thinking that I may buy a wind sock to throw over the side of the boat and drift with the wind, and use the tm for minor adjustments to the structure/cover i am fishing. Have not heard much good or bad with the drift socks, so your guess is as good as mine in that regards.
  11. I am with a few others, and would stick to points most of the time, maybe shallow in the morning, well into mid morning.
  12. My guess is worried about shoot through hull on FB, while exposed on aluminum. Never had an SI, but want one. Have a 175txw with front and driver units. Was worried about how SI would work outside the boat with water disturbance. Any additional input in that capaticty anyone?
  13. Evergreen lake. 10 min north of Bloomington on 39 Take the Kappa exit and head west if shore bound and fish the riprap that you will see past the pump station. If by boat, take the hudson exit to white oak boat ramp. Also, if by boat, Clinton lake has been very hot this year for thick bass.
  14. Storm 5 in swim shad. I only say this becuase If I do get bored, I throw this and if it swims, it eats a swimshad. Pike eat old tennis shoes if they have to.
  15. I am lucky enough to live in a very sheltered local economy, even in one of the worst states. That being said, business as usual for me, which means I don't get to fish everyday like I would like to, but I will never complain about employment
  16. Agreed. I guess just more curious on why not just stock a musky (yeah) or northern (boo) strain there, and not spend the money at a hachery...I guess it could be a thousand reasons really, but I know in my home lake when the swayed from the tigers and introduced the pure bloods sizes went up (obviously) and money was spent on a dam correction and not to a hatchery. Oh well, tigers are a great match on bass tackle anyday! Thanks Ron
  17. Vinny, question for you... I would not think you guys would have tigers up there, why did they stock those and not just intoduce a strain of musky or northern? Just curious, thanks!
  18. Great picture by the way.
  19. No hate at all, but this is the funniest thing I have seen on here in awhile! ;D ;D ;D ;D I might make it my new screen name, just to confuse you. Cute, maybe you two should get a room?
  20. Could not just read into bad typing huh?
  21. 7" plastic worm. Keep what you want, throw back what not.
  22. I pretty much have all my confidence in powerbait, I do like the pro shake e2, I always have one rigged up, with a powerbait shake worm... Anyhow, tried the MS tube, does help bringing frogs over slop as lube, and while I let the fish hold on for a second prior to setting the hook, i believe that it works and does not get spit as quick. I think availability is low unless you are looking for it. Not for the impulse buyer. (at least in my neck of the woods) Also, and I may get slayed for this, but anything with Ronald Martin on it turns me away, not sure why, just a feeling i get.
  23. 4 in tube texas rigged so that it can spiral down to big girls. Then used like a jiggin spoon.
  24. "A man never stands so tall as when he stoops to helps a child fish." Not sure who said it, and there may be variations...
