No ice fishing yet. Looking for a bit warmer weather so i can get to clinton for some stripers and crappie though.

I would say with some baits, you could keep on the deck all day. A versatile bait as a jig yes- but i already have confidence with that. The worst thing I see people do, and have done it myself is have too many different baits and switch too often thinking it is the bait...and not where they are fishing. I tend to think find the fish, catch the fish.- less on style, selection, color and so forth.

It is well below freezing- just had to remind myself that it actually does get green and not just gray around here.

Cant seem to punch them through the ice. Powerplant lakes however away from the discharge, I will give it a try.

Congrats Speed... We in the business are not all bad guys, no matter what the media or govt. says. Anyhow, depending on what you make, you may also be able to write off mi on your taxes- so take note of what you have paid into mi. FHA will not allow a prepayment penalty- most of the time now it will only be on open ended second liens that contain the penalties- just a dumb option and not practiced much anymore on first liens, illegal in a lot of states at that.

Wind is bothersome. My biggest complaint is ice on lakes... it is 21 with 16mph wind. You could not pay me to hit a river today.

I am just like you,...in that i am not a doctor. So, excuse the confusion on my end,...but I thought crohns disease messes with the other end of things...i.e. You are not going for hair on the back end are you??? :'(

The new battlefield on 360 is great. Getting ready to put the boat away aside from maybe one trip a month and look foward to hibernating with this game.

I believe frogs hibernate at around the same temps bass spawn...and our surface temps are below that here in central il. I would say the frog bite is over. On the other hand, there can still be a top water bite, and i would not be scared to throw a horney toad or anything that moves quickly. Hows that for a flip flop.
