  3. Paul, I have Dobyns Savvy series, and 1 Champion. I also had 2 Duckett rods. Gave them both to my son. The rods were actually great rods. Just couldn't deal with those dang tiny micro guides. Age does that, you know....lol.Anyhow, of the 2, I still preffered the Dobyns. Hootie
  4. I have 4 Dobyns Savvy rods. Use them for just about everything, worms and jigs, spinnerbaits, cranks, like I said, everything. I know some say they are not sensitive enough for jigs or worms, BUT, I have never had a problem detecting strikes, and I have about as much sensitivity in my hands and fingers as twigs. So personally, for the money, I think the Chronarch and Savvy will make a great combo. Mine, by the way, are 6' 6", MH. Hootie

  16. I have been using them for a few weeks, and I have to say, I like them and they do make a difference. That being said, if I wasn't working at BPS, and getting a discount, I probably,....well, no, I would not be using them. Hootie

  23. BPS hooks are great. Anytime I have ever lost a hook, ya know, it's never been the hooks fault. You get what you pay for? Ahh, if only that were always true. Hootie
