  4. My wife says I deal with it by driving her nuts. 2° here this morning. Supposed to fall to -4° by noon, with an overnight low tonight of -11°. This is Cincinnati by the way, you know,.... the home of the comedy team known as the "Cincinnati Bengals". Hootie

  6. I still have my original baitcaster, an Ambassadeur 5000, purchased new in 1969. Still works great, and I use it ocassionally. You want slow. Try 3.5 to 1 gear ratio. Hootie
  7. Curado 200G7. Only been fishing maybe 10 trips or less. Hootie
  8. Yes, I back off all my drags after EVERY fishing trip. Don't see any reason to loosen the tension knob. Hootie
  9. Post title says, Curado 200G7. Hootie
  10. Turns a little to easily to suit me. You think if I stretch the tension spring a little, it would feel a little more snug? Hootie
  11. Great bag, I have the red one, but I had it so loaded it got a little cumbersome. I dropped down to the 360 version, the blue one, and it works out perfectly for me. But you are right, the design is perfect for anything you will ever need. Hootie
  12. MAN!!!.....That is some THICK ICE!! Hootie
  13. Anyone with the new BPS catalog notice that the Curado is missing? New one is coming. Don't know for sure when, but I think in time for the BPS classic, late Feb. Hootie

  18. Yes, I remember Burke, "Put a Burke where they lurk". Remember the Burke "buckshot" worm? Hootie
  19. Good to hear J Francho. I thought I was the only one with this problem. Just chalked it up to age, but hey, you're a young man.... WHEW! Hootie
  20. I am going to try, to make, encourage, force, talk myself into using those dang 10" worms. Usually about a dozen casts, and I'm back to my 7" power worms. Ya gotta understand guys, I grew up using 6" Creme worms, 6" Manns Jelly worms, and 6" Mister Twister worms. So, to me, jumping to a 7" worm, was a "BIG WORM". Hootie
  21. Today is the day you make phone calls to apologize for how you acted last night.....lol. Hootie
  22. I'm in. Hootie
  23. If you check their website and find an item cheaper than in the store, they will match it. I have seen them match internet prices on sales that said "online only". I've never seen them match other stores prices. Hootie
  24. In the beginning, I drove through several bass fishing forums. I parked here. Hootie
