  1. You could try backing off till you can't see the fish. If you can see them, they can see you. Hootie
  2. If you're catching a lot of bass, I would just put up with that little inconvenience. Other than the tuning, sounds like they are working well for you. Hootie

Betcha never seen one of those...lol. So enjoy your youth, and your weight. Look at my avatar and some of the other older guys, because this is what happens next. Hootie
  6. You took the words right out of my mouth. The thing that crossed my mind was, this has to be a teenager. I was right....lol. Hootie
  7. By the way, my walking wasn't every day. Just 4 to 5 days a week. Hootie
  8. In January, 2013, after undergoing treatment for prostate cancer, which included hormone therapy, my weight had ballooned to 254#. I made up my mind to get the weight off. Started a diet, and began walking two miles a day. By July, 2013, my weight was down to 184. Been a year now and I am still holding at 185. Just make up your mind to do it and stick to it. You can make it work, I promise. Best of luck to you. Hootie

  17. I was born in a coal mining camp. Fonde Ky, bet you never heard of that. My Dad was a coal miner. The little community is barely there now. The last time I was there was about twenty years ago. Just did a drive thru just to see how much it had changed. In its heyday it had one store, one gas station, one post office and one doctor.
  18. Only one per pack. You should see the hooks. Hootie
  19. I thought about trying one, but my wife says, "don't you already have a zillion rods"? Hootie
  20. No such animal yet. Would be nice though. Hootie
  21. Okay, after all the opinions and a suggested article, I will be using a leader. Quite a few rocks in my lake. Final question, is a three ft. leader long enough? Hootie
  22. I found the article and read it. Interesting to see there were mixed opinions on the subject. Thanks for the info. Hootie
  23. Is a leader absolutely necessary? The lake I fish is really stained. Can't ever see a white spinnerbait more than 10 inches deep. Also the lake is very snag infested. Lots of laydowns. Hootie
  24. You are reading my mind. I was just wondering the same thing myself. Hootie
  25. Where can I find it? I ran a Google search and can't find anyplace that sells it. Hootie
