  2. I have success with Jack's garlic spray. I have used Megastrike over and over with no luck at all. I don't doubt for a minute that it's good stuff. It just doesn't seem to work on the lake I fish. I have so much better results with the garlic, that I'm starting to believe the bass in my lake are all Italian bass...lol. Hootie

  10. This is a topic that has come up several times before but never seems to go anywhere. I don't know why. I love discussing old fishing tackle as I have quite a collection myself. Just doesn't seem to generate any interest. Hootie

  12. Found out that they don't charge $150 just for the name. Bought a G LOOMIS decal for $2.00...so they only charge $2.00 for the name. I don't know what the rest of the money is for. Hootie
  13. According to everything I am reading, the reason loomis don't build a sub $200.00 rod, is, they don't know how. Will someone volunteer to show them? Hootie
  14. Perfect answer, at 14 yrs old, I wouldn't have had $46.00. Buy it Kevin and have fun. Hootie

  16. I think we all for the most part favor the music from our era. There are of course exceptions. I like 50's & 60's music, but that's where I'm from. My daughter loves it. But my son likes 80's music. Now, a killer question. Who likes "DISCO"....Bwa ha ha! Hootie

  21. Casey Kasem told a story about Berry Gordy. His mother called him all upset. Seems his younger sister had run away and gotten married, and they couldn't locate her. He assured his mom that he would try to locate her. He put the word out and a couple days later his sister called him and confirmed that she had indeed gotten married. She told Berry her husband could really sing and after much persuasion Gordy agreed to give him an audition. A few days later, a young man walked into his office, and said, Mister Gordy, you don't know me but I married your sister. My name is Marvin Gaye. And, as they say, the rest is history. Hootie

  25. When Alan Freed coined the term "Rock and Roll",back in 1951, both Ozzy Osbourne, and Robert Plant were 3 years old. Jimmy Page was 8. So, I don't think so Al...lol. Hootie
