  1. No, I don't at the moment, but I have been eyeing that Scorpion. It will probably be in my arsenal before next Spring. It would really look great on my Loomis spinnerbait rod. The rod is a deep red color. Hootie
  2. I have a Curado 50e on my imx 782c. By the way, this just happens to be my 2000th post. When do I get my plaque....lol. Hootie
  3. eewww!....lol. Hootie
  4. That could work. I have two of the green Curado 50e's, and one Chronarch 50e. Hootie
  5. This one is the previous version. I have also seen mixed reviews on the newer IMX's. Hootie
  6. NRX and Core 100mg7 $900.00 Hootie
  7. Got a new g loomis imx 784c coming today. Undecided about which reel I want to put on it. I could put on one of my Chronarch 200e6,s, or one of my Curado i's. What to do, what to do. Hootie
  8. Two Ambassadeur 5000's, $29.95 each. Oh.... I bought them in 1969. Still work, and I still occasionally use them. Hootie
  9. I knew there would be someone who wouldn't understand the question...lol. Hootie
  10. It hasn't ended yet. Hootie
  11. What do you find more enjoyable, buying a new reel or a new rod? Hootie
  12. Been spending the last couple of weeks getting my house ready for winter. Still slightly traumatized over last winter. Hopefully it will be like the old days, you remember. You got new snow tires for the car, then, voila!,NO SNOW!! Hootie
  13. I find, all I ever need is a sliding compound miter saw and a plunge router. Hootie
  14. I posted this before because it works. When you are going past that section of the store, just put your cell phone up to your ear and they won't bother you. I know, maybe you shouldn't have to do this, but hey!.... it works. No muss, no fuss. Hootie
  15. BPS arranges their lures according to category, not brand name. Creature isle, spinnerbait isle, swimbait isle, etc. Hootie
  16. I have used the Vicious Ultimate, which is a copolymer. I liked it and never had any problems with it. Hootie
  17. That's the beauty of this sport. You never have to figure out how or why the other guy does it different than you. It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. Hootie
  18. That's exactly how I approach it. Hootie
  19. Lol....let me think about it. Hootie
  20. Didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a spinning combo. It won't get a lot of use. I am pretty much baitcasting all the time. Hootie
  21. Got a new Compre spinning rod a couple of weeks ago, and I have had it out a few times. It seems a little heavy to me. My question... if you have used this rod, is it especially heavy or have I just become spoiled by my GLX'S and NRX rods. Hootie
  22. Hmmm...this seems like a valid question. Valid answer....anyone? Hootie
  23. And there it is. Look at the old face in my avatar. Think I'm gonna change now? Not likely...lol. Hootie
