  1. That's a crankbait rod. "CBR" Hootie
  2. But ice cream will make the reel all sticky. Hootie
  3. I hear ya. I wouldn't get rid of my 50's either. You just never know. Preferences can and have changed before. Hootie
  4. I have fished Hardy lake many times. First time I fished it, it was a little intimidating. I had never fished water that clear before...lol. Hootie
  5. There's 3, I put them back. Hootie
  6. On reading a lot of guys raving about the 50 size reels, over the last couple years. I purchased three. Two Curado 50E'S, and a Chronarch 50e. After having used them enough to form an opinion, I have decided that I prefer a full size reel. I love my Chronarch 200e's, My core 100mg's. It seems to me that the new Curado i's fall somewhere in between in size, but I still prefer them to any of the 50's that I have used. Does anyone else prefer full size over the small size. I am talking about for everyday use, not specifically finesse. The reason I ask is because I know some of you guys use the 50's for everything. Hootie
  7. I call mine an A+++. Any fishing season after a cancer diagnosis is a tremendous +. The season coming up will be my fifth. Hootie
  8. And there it is. I knew it, I knew it. Hootie
  9. If I got caught doing that on my lake, I would be arrested. Hootie

  11. I thought I had read that before. Hootie
  12. The first classics were held in October. A beautiful month to be on the water. Hootie
  13. There ya go. It happens to all of us. I just hope nobody notices "myne". There, put that in your hat and smoke it...lol. There may be underlying reasons for poor spelling. Anybody ever hear of "dyslexia"? Nah... more fun to accuse, condemn, and criticize. Hey yugrac,....is that car guy spelled backwards? Bad spellers of the world,...."UNTIE"! Hootie
  14. I have been using 12# Abrazx on my baitcasters for two years and I really like it. It stays limp and it's a tough line. The lake I fish has a lot of snags, lay-downs, and brush. It holds up well in spite of this. Hootie
  15. John, fishing lies are not only forgiven, they're expected...lol. Anyway, sounds like you're all set and ready to go. My lake was supposed to open March 6th. Looks like that is out of the question now, the way our stupid weather has turned around. Two weeks ago water was fine. Now it's froze up tight. Too many sub-zero nights. Oh well, it will happen when it happens. Que sera sera. Hootie
  16. Never have, I have fished East Fork a few times, Rocky Fork for some club tourneys years ago. When I had a boat, I did most of my fishing on Indiana lakes. Brookville, Whitewater state park. Versailles state park, Monroe Reservoir, Hardy lake, Brush Creek lake. Threatened to fish Patoka a couple of times, but never got around to it. Hootie
  17. I saw that too, John. Hey, you need to grab another one. Almost fishing season you know....lol. Hootie
  18. My guess, in most cases, you couldn't sort them out. I will qualify that statement by saying I am speaking for myself. I just wanted to be. I fish Shimano, and Loomis, therefore, I am. Hootie
  19. Sorry kid, no break today. Looks like we gotta hang ya'. Get the rope boys....lol. Hootie
  20. Jack Daniels. Hootie
  21. I could add one thing. Ranch dressing, cedar is so much better with ranch dressing. Hootie
  22. Catfish, gimme, gimme, gimme!! Hootie
  23. C'mon old guys, this young man is 14 years old. Let's cut him a break on his spelling. Two, too, to. Do, due, dew. Arnold Horshack,.. ooo, ooo, ooo! Hootie
  24. Many times. Years ago, that's what fishing was about. Dinner, not a trophy, or a photograph. Hootie
  25. I'm not sure, but I think maybe he is saying groin would be a more suitable replacement for "nuts". Unless I'm seeing this the wrong way. Just a thought. Hootie
