  1. Ain't that the truth...lol Hootie
  2. Yep, that's it. I got Mad Skills...lol. Hootie
  3. I do that, but it keeps getting edited. Hootie
  4. Okay A-Jay, you got me. What are Mad Skills. I would imagine that metal roof is going to be quite pricey. Hootie
  5. Not at all, I am also ambidextrous. On top of that, I don't need no stinkin' depth finder. Hootie
  6. I hear ya. Health-wise, your much better off with oatmeal than Steak & Shake. I'm just pickin' on rippin-lips. My typical fishing breakfast is a zucchini, cranberry, walnut muffin after I get on the lake. My wife makes them and they are AWESOME. Hard for me to eat just one. Hootie
  7. I can cast with both hands. I am "amphibious". Hootie
  8. Impressed, I am,.....In trouble, you are....lol. Hootie
  9. All the "C" reels had bearings. That's what the "C" designation meant. Hootie
  10. No, it's not mono, it's flouro. AND, it's great as a main line...Glorified?...I don't know...maybe. Oh,...the $10...I'll keep it and stop at Steak and Shake for breakfast on the way to the lake. Hope you don't mind...lol. Hootie
  11. VERY, VERY good point A-Jay. Ya know, I feel better already...lol. Hootie
  12. I'm 8 yrs. retired from welding. 45 years on the job.I spent the last 32 of those years building fire trucks. Great job, interesting work, but I am SO glad to be retired. So,...been there, done that, don't want to do it again. Hootie
  13. It's Friday and I was supposed to have a team of roofers show up today, to put a new roof on my house. They had to cancel, RAIN! My fishing lake is supposed to open tomorrow. I was really looking forward to going for the first time this year. Can't, RAIN flooded the lake. Now opening day has been moved to next week. Netflix, we got a date. Hootie
  14. I use it. Have been for a few years. Its a good flouro choice without spending a bunch of money. I also use Abrazx. Twice the price of Red Label. Since I didn't mark the reels in any way, I couldn't honestly tell you which line is on which reel. That's one reason I've been thinking about using Red Label exclusively. Can't tell the difference, why bother? Hootie
  15. Wait a minute! You're catching 11# bass, and you're asking for advice? I advise you to give me directions to this pond....lol. Hootie
  16. They are no longer made, but the bomber was made by Bomber lure company. The Mudbug was made by Arbogast, the company that makes the Jitterbug and the hula popper. Hootie
  17. Actually John, those are bombers. Here is a Mudbug. But I have to agree about the "don't work". I never , not once caught anything on them. Guess that's why they were in my storage room...lol. Hootie
  18. Not exactly a recent purchase, but doing some cleanup in a storage room, I came across these. I bought these back in the 80's. Hootie
  19. Now Mike just seems like a regular guy. I really enjoy watching his show. Hootie

  22. Raider, when I saw you here, I thought I was on the wrong forum. Hootie
  23. I've done this years ago, and I used a crutch cap or cane cap. Just heavy enough to help balance the loss of a couple inches of the handle. Hootie
  24. Right here, Lowe's Kobalt 8" bolt cutters. Hootie
