I have the Savvy series, and really like them a lot. In fact I have 4 of them. Hootie

I have both rods, and they are both awesome. BUT, my favorites are the Dobyns rods. Hootie

I have been considering mounting mine on the 2 Duckett Micro Magics I already have, but I just can't seem to break away from my Dobyns rods. I gotta say, though, they sure would look great, white reel on a white rod. hmmm. Hootie

Thats my buddy. You tell em guy. I doubt anyone on here knows more about Shimano than LMG. Maybe DVT, but thats about it. Hootie

I have both, and honestly, I would hate to have to give either up. I personally think the Lews is a lot smoother, but we know the Chronarch is proven. Both great reels. Hootie Chime in LMG

Now that I have your attention, I would like to know, does anybody use football jigs anywhere besides rocks? How about wood, or just any old shoreline? Hootie

My son and I fished last Saturday, 7/14, in weather just like you described. Best day we have had in 2 yrs. I mean it rained so much I got wet through my $225.00 rain gear. We caught bass 2# to 4# all day long. Never done that before. Go figure, I sure cant. Hootie

I use to have a BB1 about 30 years ago, or longer. They were great reels. Wish I had it back. Lews originated the first low profile reel. The first Lews were made by Shimano, before Shimano started making their own reels. Hey LMG, ya think the old Lews reels were so great because Shimano made em? LOL Hootie
