  1. There's always at least one.......ho hum..... Great review Capt. Bob. Hootie
  2. Sometimes it's easy to have your post mis-interpreted on here. I've had it happen a few times myself. With me, it's my goofy sense of humor. It's best to not be offended, and move on. I have found the folks on this forum to be very forgiving anyway. For the record, I read your post, and didn't see anything wrong with it. After reading the next few posts, I went back and re-read your post to see if I had missed something. Still didn't see anything wrong. Oh well, that's all I've got. Hootie
  3. But first he has to yell, "OH SON"........lol Hootie
  4. CAN'T WAIT!!! Man, we are just getting finished with a forever winter. Let's get some fishing time in before we rush football season......lol Hootie
  5. I have a lot of different jigs, strike king, booyah, war eagle, etc. But having placed a couple of orders to Siebert in the last month, Mike makes the finest jigs I've ever seen. I think Siebert is my jig supplier from now on. Hootie
  6. Tell them the receipt looks fine. The problem is the rod....lol Hootie
  7. Uhh...that was meant as a joke. I guess if it needs explaining, the humor was totally lost....lol Hootie
  8. I had a BPS rod break the very first day I took it out. I stepped on it, and snapped about a foot off of it. Wont be buying any more of these. &$#@$@4!&4 Hootie
  9. I hear that. I started using Red Label, and my hair fell out. Hootie
  10. Well, I just placed my order. 10 jigs and 2 packs of Cosmic Craws. The ball's in your court Mike...lol Hootie
  11. Now ya got me all fired. I just ordered 8 jigs a couple of weeks ago, and I think I'm gonna order another 10, and some Cosmic Craws. I really fell on love with that brush jig. It fits my lake like a glove. Lots of laydowns, brushpiles, and stumps. Mike, here I come....lol, Hootie
  12. There, that didn't hurt now, did it? Good job, you're a Great American....lol Hootie
  13. The lake I fish is very murky. At it's absolute best, you can see a white spinnerbait at 10 inches. After that, it's gone. Said that to say this. I fish mostly plastics all year. I use wacky rigged Zoom centipedes, Zoom baby brush hogs, Havoc pit boss, Culprit 7 1/2 worms, Berkley chigger craws, crazyleg chiggercraws, all with success. I have never needed a rattle, although, it couldn't hurt. Like Francho said, these bass have learned to feed under these conditions. It's where they live. Whatever it takes to survive. Hootie
  14. Just so ya know.....lol Besides, telling someone to lie never helps anything. Just read Rockchalks post. Hootie
  15. PoWhat has happened to just plain old honesty. I have a nearly new rod sitting in my room right now. It has about a foot broken off the tip. I stepped on the darn thing. I could used have used your bull crap story and gotten a new rod, but I feel I am better than that. NO wait, I know I am better than that. Hootie
  16. Don't you mean you CAN take it back? Hootie
  17. Had one, snagged up and lost it on the 2'nd cast. Never bothered with any more. Hootie
  18. One of my customers at BPS was looking at an STX, and noticed on the box, "Swedish Engineered". He asked me what that meant. I told him that means it's "Made in China",....lol... Hootie
  19. Some conflict with the mods, so he moved on to a couple of forums on other websites. Hootie
  20. If you backlashed on the hookset, it is your drag being to loose. You don't want to back the drag off, you want to tighten it. Turn it forward. Hootie
  21. A G Loomis IMX MBR 783C MH. Hootie
  22. Just got my jigs today. That was, in my opinion, very fast. I ordered them Monday. They really look great. Got a bunch in the bluegill color, AWESOME!! Hootie
  23. Great, I have some brush jigs, and arky styles coming from Siebert today. Just checked package tracking, and it says they are out for delivery. Should be here within the hour. Hootie
  24. I know everyone uses football jigs around rocks. So is football jigs around wood impractical? I know there are other options for wood i.e., brush jigs etc., but I'm just curious about the footballs. Thanks, Hootie
  25. Anytime there is a Ford or Chevy question, someone always suggests Toyota....lol Hootie
