Gat-Mehn: Did you fish the Susky's North Branch. I'd like to hit that for smallies. I'd be curious of your outcome.

I just joined. I bought a 1760 jet last fall. I fish the Potomac in MD, the Susky in PA, and now the New in VA. I'd rank them in reverse of that listing. I'm heading down to the New next week for a two-day guided trip. I can't wait.

Are there any temp gauges on line? I see the USGS levels, but no temps. I think I know that area.

My daughter goes to VaTech. I realized how good the New was when I visited. I arranged two trips the Friday and Saturday of Memorial Day w/e with Mike Coley of Savage Strike Guide service. A friend and I might get down there early enough on Thursday to wade. I read the Parrot area is good. Any other recommendations?

I'm heading to the New River next Friday for only the second time (near Radford). Anyone know some good spots to wade? I heard the Parrot area is good.
