Same here. Put a Pro Blue STX on the water today. I left it all stock just to see how it would suspend out of the box. I nomally change out all the hooks on my jerk baits. I didn't used to do that on the 110's since they come with fancy hooks, but they are super fragile, so they get them now too.
Anyway, the STX suspended very well stock. Better than any 110 I've ever owned. I was more than a bit surprised by that one. I figured it, like EVERY jerkbait I've ever owned, would need some weighting to make it neutrally boyant. It did very, very slowly rise but not enough to have to adjust for. The action seemed very similar to my 110's. The jerk bait bite has not turned on yet here, but I think these will be just as good a weapon as the 110's. Maybe better as I won't be as afraid to use these in thicker timber.
