like what?
you can't cast heavy lures or use heavy line like baircasters and also i have found spinning rods dont do well in heavy cover
I have to disagree with you but each to their own.
think what you want we all have our own opinions
i have never heard of them but hopefully it works for you but for $15 BPS has a 7" jointed swimbait which you can get in trout colors but i highly reccomend them because i have one in bluegill, i havnt fished it much but the racction is great and so is the price
you don't need lucky crap lures to catch fish, in fact i out fished a guy who was using lucky cratfs while i was using bandit and strike king, btw i used that EZ braid and thought it was horrible but hey whatever works well for you is good
my friend has 4 of them, the jig and worm, spinnerbait/ worm, crankin, and drop shot/split shot and loves them, while me on the other hand hate them, i dont like the feel or actions of them, i suggest you go and pick one up to see how it feels
my fishing hat, a berkley lightning rods hat has one of those hat hooks on it and the hook has to go on my left side when wearing it or else there will be no fish for me that day
i love the money minnow and i use 4/0 twist lock stanley ribbet and swimbait hooks and they work good but you need to rig them straight as an arrow or else they will not run right
i wont even touch LC, sebile, yo zuri, etc. becausue they are just too expensive and ive caught tons on spooks and especially in my lake there are tons of pickeral and pike so you tend to lose lures and they get beat up quick
it is shown in statistics that most people can cast mono or flouro farther than braid and longs cast are needed for deep cranking and also braid is horrible for cranking because when retrieved it wont sit on the spool right
If you are going to post a statement like this post the reference for all of us to see.
Sounds like a pile of you know what to me. Someone's sitting behind a desk with too much time on his hands.
As far as I'm concerned, the only way to alter the way line (Any) lays on a spool is to alter the mechanics of a reel.
The only desk he's sitting behind is a school desk.
no, actually school ended 2 weeks ago
No. Diving depth is a function of line diameter, not how "dense" the line is. I'll use a fluoro leader on thin superline to get deeper, but that's a different story.
actually flouro can help you get deeper but it only really works if you are throwing light cranks and are pausing a lot, when paused a floating crank will rise faster with mono because it floats while flouro will keep it at a slow rise or just pretty much keep it suspended
it is shown in statistics that most people can cast mono or flouro farther than braid and longs cast are needed for deep cranking and also braid is horrible for cranking because when retrieved it wont sit on the spool right
thats in my expeirience, thouhg it was cheap pos braid, but most people do not reccomend braid for cranking
