  1. Hey guys! It's been a while since I've made a post but I got a question or two. What depth should I be targeting and what creeks do yall suggest given all this crazy weather we've had lately. I've never really fish pickwick this time of the year so any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll prefish Thursday and Friday and we are launching out of yellow creek. Any and I mean any help would be great! Thanks agian guys!
  2. Awesome idea... Thanks man! I love the feel of these seats, I just wish a tad bit more thought on durability was considered. I love the seats on the cumulus rod.. To me those are sent from heven! But thanks agian guys for all the tips

  4. I love the way they fish too.... And just the thought of ICAST has me slobbering! Lol
  5. I love the ripping Rap..... Love it! Just wish there were more color selections. But I think I've got every make and model out there. I also like the BPS lipless, it looks like something from overseas but with a country boy price.

  7. I am getting very, very tired of these up locking reel seats! Am I alone? I love the blank contact of course but my issue is they are ALL getting janky and don't want to hold tight! I don't want to mess with warranty junk because I have over 14.... Just wanting to know if there's a simple fix? Maybe thread tape or some sort of glue? I actually epoxied a reel on a cumara! Dumb move I know... Don't rub it in! Lol. The cumulus rods are perfect.... Why can't they go back to perfect? Get your act together Robby Gant or whatever your name is! Help!
  8. I'm with the crowd that says you can't golf with 14 of the same club.... With that said I will say this. TS just do not fit everyone, it's part marketing ploy to catch an angler who loves to say a spinnerbait or jerkbait. That might work for one guy but I might like to throw a small worm on that jerkbait rod! It's all in your hands and between your ears.... I fish shimano exclusively and I will actually tape over the TS writing (it's mental for me) I do agree with the one poster who said he believed CLUNN was talking about the same rod line and reel, not the same exact actions I wouldn't think? But CLUNN is yoda so maybe he does.... Lol! I would love to have a 100% glass shimano cranking rod but have yet to find one. I use an umbrella rig cumara for Carolina rig fishing so I'm no authority. Haha. I think everybody has probably covered everything I've written but I had to post. I basically have 6'8"- 7'11" in my boat and fish by feel.... That's what it's about, other than finding and catching those green jokers! And if anyone has a 100% fiberglass shimano rod... PM ME!! Lol
  9. I'm sure this is a silly quistion but am I allowed to fish any of the ponds along humphys blvd.? I live in Shelby forest and I beat these ponds to death and I'm looking for something new. I'm sure y'all have covered this somewhere in this post. And if so what should I expect? Is it more numbers or are there some size in there? Thanks guys.. Patrick
  10. I'm sure this is an old post but in Shelby forest the bass are on fire! I cought a 20lb bag out of poplar tree lake 2 weeks ago.... That's the first time in 20 years I found some bigger fish there. All post spawn.... They were all in about 6-12ft of water along side a channel swing. I was throwing a lucky craft flat CD12 in table rock shad and ball patrol football jigs. Also there is a pond behind crosspointe baptist church that is loaded.... I've been catching them on lipless cranks and tubes
  11. That orange craw is awesome man!
  12. There are TONS of good and bad when it comes to floro.....In my opinion, its the best for bottom bouncing baits or in clear water...or when ripping traps outta grass. I use sunline and any line in that brand comes with a price!! So i always use a cheep mono backing line, and spool about 2 good cast lengths of floro. I have never really had any break offs unless i go with out re tying my baits all day....lol When i started using floro it was berkley Vanish and i had great succses with it, and you dont have to go get a loan from the bank to buy some line.....If you try it you will probibly never wanna go back..lol
  13. I always throw a natural color jig......even in muddy water green pumpkin and browns still show up....but do mix some black in to it, even if its just the trailer, or a few strands blended in the skirt
  14. I still use bang or kickin bass
  15. I think sents just mask the jusk from our hands........ To me, sight and there lateral line are used in feeding primarily......I dip tobacco unfortunately ,so I use sents often to try to disguise the chemicals left dehind on my hand
  16. Sol!! That's it, sorry......they are great little reels

Theses are the only reels I have from them and they look just like my buddies fugo......even feel lighter! Any answers appreciated, or directions to a previous post too. Also they are for sale as well! Thanks guys, Patrick

  24. i went and bought a clarus tonight......i think i like it!! 610 spinnerbait....the clarus has a litttle bit of eva above the reel seat so thats a plus...i know its not im9 but it 8 but oh well we will see....i have alot of older curados and citicas i want tuned.....i hear they can make them better than brand new!!
  25. thanks man....i have mostly cumaras, and they are great! but all the other lines intrige me haha the 2 sellus crankbait rods are great in my opinion too, esspecially for the price. i was told that shimano discontinued the cumulus line and they are working on a new cumara, is that true?
