Breaking this down one at a time , cool or cold water , spinners and or blade baits are a good cool or cold water , decent choice , but where you made the mistake was with the silver willow leaf blade , good for clear water and or bright sunny days , lots of flash , the Colorado blade would have been a much better choice , Colorado blades are great for vibration type situations , dark , stained waters , the chrome colored rattle trap , the same , bright sunny conditions , would have chosen more of a shad pattern under your conditions . Need more info on water color and condition , I'm with CWB , you did not mention where the strike came from , a grass line ( break ) etc ... Note everything and ask again , but suggestions as of right now would be a Texas rigged worm , or lizard worked slowly on the bottom , this is the SUV rig that pretty much and for the most part works for just about everything . I like WIGuide's advise , nothing is ever written in stone , bright sunny days means they are in tight to cover and wont move very far , if at all , your finesse fishing is going to be your best friend , placement and stealth and patience , on tough days these will normally net the fish you are looking for , from one day to the next , hour by hour their mood changes , so too must you change , maybe location , maybe baits , maybe technique , maybe something as simple as your speed in which you fish , since it sounds as if you know what baits already work well in your area , I would suggest small changes first , like slowing down the presentation and moving forward from that . Yes , that's what I ment , not every game mind you , but for the most part , they were at the top in total offensive yards , if they can improve in the red zone , ( note that I did say "if" ) and if they stay healthy , this offense could very well be contenders for at least a division title , as I have said before and stand by what I have said , if we make it a better than 500 season , I would be happy , this offense so far has a lot of potential if everything comes together for them , and yes , you can bet on me watching them and the eagles play , I can't wait for the season to get rolling !!!! HTTR BABY !!!!

The even bigger question , can they improve in the red zone , they had not many issues moving the ball between the 20's , even with all the problems last year , if they can improve on that , then my answer would be with another question , can the others keep up ?

The combination of Garcon and Jackson WILL open that door , tight ends will see a lot more play , I would be willing to bet Morris has the best year yet , reaching the secondary will be a more common thing for him , the 8 man front that we faced a crap ton of last year will hurt more teams this year , that alone will give RG more time !!

Me too !! I am actually looking forward to the whole season , I am more optimistic about this season than when Gibbs took back the reins , even then I was more skeptical than I was optimistic , new team new challenges , new season , new hope !!

Well , we got Clark back as safety , that's great news !!! We are looking pretty stout for this season , just hope the plan works as well as the roster is looking !! HTTR !!!
