  1. Texas Rig from shore is a much more enjoyable day, but you can't beat the jig bite in early - mid spring.
  2. My wife got her second shot yesterday, my kids and I got Pfizer and my wife Moderna. So far all 4 of us have had no reactions.
  3. The cyst my mother has has grown a bit, but so far it's not cancer. The docs are watching it and have her scheduled for a CAT scan next month. So far so good....I guess....?
  4. At least you have a direction @A-Jay. That's half the battle. Amanda by Boston Flirtn With Disaster - Molly Hatchet Ghost Riders In The Sky - Outlaws (and others) Money For Nothing - Dire Straits Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty
  5. I used to fish and take the kids in the Atlantic Ocean on this. The bottom left hand side of the pic is a 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke motor and we felt pretty safe in it. I had it since 2010 and just sold it for $1,200 to a very good friend. I probably could have gotten about $2K, but he gave it to his son for his kid. It's pretty easy to inflate at the lake/pond/ocean and the engine was fairly light enough to take off and whatnot. Everything fit in the back of my Ford Ranger at the time.
  6. Positive thoughts heading your way. Fingers crossed as well.
  7. I like em all, although I like Temple Of The Dog more than AIC. I like some AIC but I'm not sure what it is about AIC that makes me lose interest. It seems like Pearl Jam and Nirvana get a bad rap cuz they had a bit of a mainstream presence that true alt fans resented them for.
  8. Dillon, my son, and I will be getting our first on Saturday. Amanda, my daughter got her first last Tuesday.
  9. yep....100% BTW: What was Peyton's birth weight?
  10. I had stored a Yamaha 9.9 in my shed for a couple of years. When I took the motor down to the mechanic to give it a tune up and whatnot he found a mouse inside the cover. Those little guys get into everything.
  11. Most grandfathers have it that way. Otherwise it takes too long to mix and pour. We all know that a grandfather's time is short and valuable. I couldn't resist. ?
  12. Who would put a telephone pole in the middle of the lake? ? Kinda makes you wonder where he would of ended up if that pole wasn't there?
  13. Check your PM. You can also get like 12" aluminum flat bar stock from a hardware store. You're basically looking to distribute the load of the motor clamp and protecting the transom like @J Francho mentions in his post.
  14. CONGRATS @J Francho!
  15. If you have enough 1/2" plywood leftover, just use that. You should have more than enough room to get the motor on.
  16. That's actually how my father has it J-Bricks. Anyway, I'm not a huge martini drinker, but he likes to stop by the house in the summer, so I feel like I should have one with him. ? Thank you. Be safe.
  17. How do you like your Martini? Vodka or Gin? How much Vodka/Gin to Dry Vermouth? Green olive or Lemon twist? Ok James Bond. Shaken or stirred? Straight up or on the Rocks? Me? I’m not a huge Martini drinker but it’s: 6 parts London Dry Gin, 1 part dry vermouth, shaken, straight up with Lemon twist. How about you?
  18. Had to do plumbing repairs at the house today, then a little yard work. Just sat down to relax. I know, the glass doesn’t work but it tastes good. ?
  19. WTG buddy!
  20. Wow. A picture of the Itchy & Scratchy Show from the Simpsons got removed from this thread. ?
  21. It always amazes me how some grown men get a weekend away and turn so juvenile. The cord thing would have went up my keister. I’ve been on plenty of projects in my career where I would tell guys not to run cords in public/common spaces. Sure enough there was always 1 or 2 who had to be special. All power cords and power tools on our projects have to be grounded otherwise we took them out of service. Just a safety issue. I used to carry pliers with me. When I saw a cord running across a corridor or common area space that was outside our project zone, I’d unplug the cord from the wall, pull the ground from the cord and show the workman the noncompliant cord. They had 2 options: Throw the cord away or put it in their truck and get another compliant cord. If the cord came back on the job, it gets cut in half and thrown in the dumpster. Zero tolerance. For us it was an OSHA deal as well as a liability. Both can be damaging from a monetary standpoint.
  22. Not the same Gail Force I knew
  23. Only 1 way to find out, swamp it in a shallow pond. ?
