I weigh 170
My son weighs 120
My daughter weighs 100
That's leaves 2 of their friends to make up 215 lbs
I'm under lock and key about my wife's weigh...
If you know your design you can get a quick idea of weight
3/4" plywood - you can figure 2 lbs/sf
2x4 kiln dry - 1.5 lbs/lf - multiply x 1.75 (to be safe) for pressure treated
Take a square footage of deck and lineal footage of 2x4 add an additional 15 - 20% for fasteners and say an additional 25% for carpet if you so desire. That will get you close I would say.
Prior to fastening the plywood, may add some rigid insulation or spray insulation for more floatation, I guess.
Way off in what way? Too conservative? Besides, if you're like me and you go out fishing in the ocean in 80' - 100' of water depending on the tide and current, would you dismiss the rating and overload the boat? To me, the rating is gospel.
6-10 around here is pretty minimal. Figure it this way Boom, not many peeps on the rode, the roads got treated all night so they wont be that bad, you can dump the car in a parking garage and by the time you get out the snow will be done. Go have fun, I would
Well, maybe working out will get a good dialog going with you.
I was pretty much out of fishing for a few years when my son was into baseball as well as my work schedule changed. Last year was the first year I got back into it. This past winter I tied up about 75 bucktail jigs to keep busy and occupied. Family loved it b/c I was out of their hair.
It was all smiles in Jigfishn's household when I got back into it.
I noticed Canton Res was wide open on the way back from work today. I have a feeling that the next few days will skim it back over tho.
Congrats on the 5 lber DogBone!
Had a nice surprise this morning...actually couldn't believe my eyes.
BP: 120/78!!
I did it twice with a few minutes rest between just to make sure. Second reading was a tick lower. Hopefully I didn't jinx myself by posting this, but I'm really happy where this is going.
Now to maintain it for while and hope it's not a fluke.
It's actually funny that not many people know about those hose repair parts. My next door neighbor is in his late 40's and has been in construction since he got out of the marine corp. He was p.o'd that his hose was leaking and I happened to have an extra part. Put it in and he was amazed. "Where did you get that?" he asks.
$20 for flex tape...he was about 75% there for a new hose!
NASCAR was really never popular here. It had a blip when Gordon was racing, but it quickly fell off the radar. If you want to find it, it's up on the upper end of the cable channels along with channels you hide from your kids.
