Exactly why the Pro Bowl is becoming a joke! A lot of players don't want to play and to be honest, I can see why.

I think football does it right where they play 1 game for all the marbles to have it in a neutral venue, but it would be hard in the other sports where they play to win 4 of 7.

Man, you stink...LOL...it's 15* here now and it was much colder this morning. Last summer I was doing the 12 hour days and didn't get out fishing all that much, now I have the time and...well...you know...LMAO!

We didn't do to well securing a date to get together in 2012. I for one will admit that my work schedule kept me from doing a lot of fishing as it was. I was able to get out for 2 hours max here and there and that was about it. Well, last year was last year, should we try something for this year? Maybe a dumb question, but I thought I'd at least try.

joetomlee, welcome to the site! I like to start the retrieve slow in the early season/cold water conditions, just for the fact that fish are generally lethargic at this time. Once the water warms up and the fish are in more of a chasing mode I will speed it up. That doesn't mean they won't hit based on 1 retrieve speed, you have to change it up and let the fish tell you how they want the retrieve. Kinda go through a process of eleimination between retrieve speed and depth. Good luck

If you are trying to follow up on an application only, then I would wait a few days and then make the trip to the store and speak to the MOD directly about the status of your application. If you had an interview then follow up letters are always a good idea, IMHO. I would only e-mail that person if you knew them very well and if you don't, write a letter and mail to the store location with the name of the person on the envelope. You could always deliver in person, but I think US Postal is the right way to go. Good luck!

American Express Card is really my card of choice when I make purchases that are fairly large. I have to pay it off when the bill comes in and if have any problems with the merchant, all you have to do is call American Express and your claim is as good as done and in your favor.

Mostly debit card and then cash. I don't own a true credit card. If I can't pay for now, then it doesn'y get purchased. I know what you mean Redline, a lot of folks that are older than I use cash. I just don't trust a lot of peeps anymore and prefer to not carry a lot of greenbacks.

I wish I could just say "the heck with it, I'll sell, donate, trade" or whatever, but I'm such a "if it ain't broke to fix it" kind of guy. I've gotten better, but I still like my equipment...along with the new stuff...LOL
