  1. Man, I think it was worse...I can not move anymore snow, I'm tired.
  2. Mike can hook you up no doubt about it, but what I find is, to cover most applications his brush jig can't be beat...check it out, it has everything you need in a jig!
  3. Good stuff right there...Thx for posting!
  4. I had to cadman, I was faced with a lead ban law and, at the time, a twindling income. I had some terminal tackle laying about, some material and I decided to take on the lead ban. Most ideas don't come about unless your faced with a crisis right? I can't give back my jig just yet, so I made that bogus primitive thing...
  5. 46 and still do it...HEHE
  6. I used the "Packy" title when I was out of state and the person at the store was like "what are you talking about"...After explaining, I was told to go to a gas station "like every other state in the Union!"...Man, I had a good laugh that day! That was when you jump the NH border to go to either a gas station or Market Basket on a Sunday...
  7. Not at all, I never got into the chatterbait craze...tried to, but I sucked at it. I like that bait you made. I never would have thought of putting a blade in front of it, to be honest with you. Nice job my friend!
  8. Very Good. I made this in 2011 in anticipation of the lead ban in MA for 2012. It's not your traditional jig, but pretty darn close to it and ithe swiveling hook section responded very well. If you think of it, cadman, nothing more than a compact pegged t-rigged worm with a plastic chunk instead of a worm. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/110902-looking-for-one-lure/?p=1208674
  9. Great, now we're heading into the 4" per hour snow fall and winds up to 65 mph...I may need to call my buddy weiser and cousin Jack D. ...HEHE Man, A-Jay, you remember "gotta hit the packy"...
  10. WOW! Nice vid and post JF...Just goes to show you what Glenn and his staff do for this great site. There is a ton of info on this site being used by amateur and pro alike! I'm not sure if a lot of you have really gotten lost in the article section of this site, but I can assure you, you would have to dedicate months to read and absorb all that! Thanks again JF, great post!
  11. Did you ever give that propbait a test ride, or did it just make its way down to the bottom of your tackle box?
  12. ROFLMAO!!! Don't get me wrong, I like the idea, but I remember that thread...LMAO You may be going in Witness Protection after that one...
  13. ROFL...yeah Derrick, I realize that the Granite State has been seriously affected by global warming causing a lot of cracks in the glaciers, but you really need to get you head out of one and turn on the news...
  14. I'm sure you were around for '78? In '03 we past that mark, for Boston anyway, I'm sure the (interstate) 495 belt got a lot worse, but supposedly we are on track to break '03's record...I'm getting tired of breaking snow records.
  15. I see you lost the bet, her PB was bigger than yours, so now you have to get married...ROFL...J/K I wish you both nothing but the best of luck, Mike. Good luck and God bless you both!
  16. That's a fine looking kid you have there JF, but that fricken hat has to go!
  17. You're not kidding! I was asked to stop off and get bread and milk...so I got beer instead...what the heck, it has yeast in it and it foams up white to look like milk...my kids will never know the difference.
  18. As in 24" of snow within the next 24 hours here in the Baystate.
  19. Either a spinnerbait or a Jig and Rage Craw. Spinnerbait got my PB one spring (a week and a half after ice out) and the Jig and Rage...well, I don't have to explain that do I?
  20. How are you making out with this? Hopefully very well!
  21. I guess I'm in the minority as well 5'6 min - 6'0 max. I just finish building my jerkbait/topwater rod: 5'9, MH, MF. Anything bigger than 6'0 and I'm slapping water or breaking tip-tops.
  22. Jig Meister, you can attach just like you woold a spinnerbait trailer. Here in MA, we have a lead ban, so I'll be tying the swivel in when I get my non tox jigs in later in the week. I'll let you know how that goes if you want. Just my $0.02 worth.
  23. Congrats MCS, you must have been pretty jacked at the end of that game!
  24. I can't tell you how many times that happened to me as well Bass Junkie...Not all bad...In my case, I suffer from A.D.D....well not really, just a mind of a 5 y/o...LOL
  25. Rattletrap type lures in mulllet and mackeral work great. Most chugger type baits work great...Heck, try the larger versions of the senko type baits. I use these for both freshwater and saltwater bass. My first saltwater striper was on a 1/2 oz deep diving Strike King freshwater Crankbait on a freshwater rod. Fear not the saltwater/freshwater mix...LOL
