  1. You never disappoint!
  2. My fingers are crossed for you and your family Raider
  3. I haven't used a lipless crank since about 10-12 years ago, that is until last year. Every year this type of thread comes up and Goose52 would post his fav crank with a photo of it in a quality fishes mouth. And this year he didn't disappoint...LOL So I made it a point last year to start using these vibrating lures again and I'm glad I did. I can not thank Goose52 enough for inspiring me to throw these things again. Anyway, I haven't come up with a fav yet and I do like the red eye shad a lot, but by far my biggest producer came from Janns Netcraft in Pumpkinseed. It has caught not only some really nice largemouth, but huge Rainbow Trout and my first Brown Trout. Nice part about it, you add the split rings and hooks of your choice and the cost was pretty reasonable...yes, last year I had to fish on a budget.
  4. You bet I'll be using that set-up in the bay @ Kennebunkport this summer. Sweet, thx bud!
  5. Personally, I think it should be Rated R:
  6. Actually the Zonker I use is tied direct to the main hook, but I know that you've seen the treble stinger hook rigged on a spinnerbait before, let me see if I can come up with a pic. Talk to me about the one with the spoon, sounds really interesting to me
  7. Try a dressed treble as a trailer hook on a spinnerbait. That'll sting those short strikers!
  8. Back in my fly tying days, RIT Dye worked well.
  9. I'm working the next day and will be up @ 4:00 AM so I'm watching it at home with the family, so I think we'll be making chix parm calzones. Still up in the air on appetizers...my daughter wants loaded potato skins.
  10. He's ready for it!
  11. Awesome, keep it up....Should be getting a lot easier with the cravings, I would think?
  12. Pretty much what I did. Drink plenty of fluids and eat fruit! After the race I had a couple of bottles of water and walked back to the house with my family, went right over to the fridge cut a wedge of lime an inserted the lime in a Corona. "Dad, what are you doing?" "Maintaining my fruit diet." Turned out to be a summertime joke with my daughter...LOL Again, good luck my friend.
  13. Where do you insert the carrot and charcoal eyes? Man, I could have had fun with this one.
  14. I've been avoiding this thread so I wouldn't jinx myself, but Red Earth, you descibed exactly the symptons I have perfectly in your opening post. Day 2 of feeling miserable! I hope you all get well soon.
  15. Sam, where are you going with this one?
  16. Wow, just realized that Grey Wolf started this thread, I wonder how he's doing?
  17. Good luck Felix77! Let us know your progress.
  18. Very true, but that was the first one I did since 2001, all I was hoping to do was finish, that was my true goal...LOL I passed the 2 mile marker and heard my time, and I was at the best time at the since I started running again 8 months prior. So I was really feeling good about myself. Well, I got to a stretch where it was all sun and newly paved roads and basically fell apart...LMAO I was still happy that I competed in this event and what made it so special was that my 12 yo daughter, who pushed me to enter the race, was proud of her dad and welcomed me with a big hug!
  19. Thank you! I had no problem with the distance, I had a problem with 98* heat on pavement...LOL...I finished, but a lot of us folks looked ugly crossing the finish line...LMAO
  20. Congrats to all who have lost unwanted LBS, I lost 25# last year and have gone backwards a bit. I just got off the treadmill and, ironically, just read this thread. I'm hoping to right the ship so I can run the 5K July 4th race again this year. Good luck to you all!
  21. Good, if you like the way he played, as I did...Bad if you drank like him...LMAO...old time hockey eay? Man, what a time growing up in those days. I was fortunate enough to meet Pie, Brad Park, Hodge, Cheesy, Chief and more that aren't coming to mind right now. Man, you're bringing me back to a really good place in my life...LOL I remember being involved in a hockey program that Gordie Howe ran across the country and he came to our practice one night. Biggest thrill of my life was not only being on the same ice as him, but taking a pass from him in a hockey drill. I will never forget that night! What a gentleman he was.
  22. I think the only one that stands out for me, and I know why the did it, was Bobby Orr, but then again, I was my son's age (9) when they did that. Man, was I heart broken. Considering as a kid, I got to see him in person and I was a huge hockey nut at the time.
  23. I wasn't a big fan of Nomar after the '02 season I think it was, so it really didn't break my heart to see him go.
  24. Not at all. Duquette didn't trade him, he got traded in '04.
