    Siebert has unleaded jigs and offers them in a variety of head designs. I live in the Baystate and have the same laws. We have a lot of weedy waters so I use more of a bullet head style. Good luck.

    They hit a wide variety of lures but for me, watching them turn over on a spinnerbait has to be my favorite way to catch them.

    A 5 foot grub would be tough to cast... I was a jig and some type of plastic trailer fan for a long time, but after having caught 10 plus different species on a lipless crankbait, I would say that would be my choice.
