  1. You can have him...he had 2 good seasons and should be in jail for robbery...he stole a lot of money from the Jets after those 2 seasons.
  2. It's not a matter of weather I want him, heck anyone would want a top rated quarterback, but if I need a quarterback and you have to make a choice based on what's available, I don't think the Raiders made a bad choice. Sanchez just got released from the Jets, so given a choice between Sanchez and Schaub, I take Schaub. I know Sanchez wasn't available for the Raiders at that point, but you get where I'm coming from.
  3. Your math needs some help. A "pretty darn good" team makes the play-offs in those 4-5 years and the Texans went to te play-offs for the first time in 2011 and last year they were 2-11. Now I'm not saying he's an elite quarterback, but he's above average that has proven to get you to the tournament as the Tuna would say.
  4. It wasn't like he was on great teams all 10 of his years.
  5. I have no problems with a friendly poker game amongst friends and family, but the whole notion of giving taxed money back to the peeps who taxed me in the first place kinda goes up my @$$.
  6. I really don't think Schaub is all that bad of a quarterback.
  7. I'm pretty much like you Raider, I can cook any breakfast meal you like, pizza from scratch - homemade dough, sauce and not always, but have even made mozzarella cheese - pasta, ravioli all homemade and so on. I could not cook a burger to order...medium, medium well, whatever, couldn't do it, all over the map with the way a burger came out. I'm getting better with them, but, I'd rather give up the grill to someone else when it comes to cooking burgers for folks other than my family.
  8. Get a dehydrator and put your seasoned filleted trout in for approximately 24 hours. Remove and enjoy with your vender pack Slim Jims...LMAO!
  9. If I won big, I'd do something, but I don't think it would back in construction.
  10. I know what you mean, I worked at a gas station part time to help Santa Claus one year and I would get peeps just burning their pay checks on scratch tix. I actually had 1 sale where the guy bought a whole book. Must have took a day to scratch. I don't do the scratch tix, I can see a huge problem with those. I think I'm with you, I think I'll take the fam out to dinner this weekend and enjoy my hard work.
  11. I don't play the lottery much at all, maybe 5-10 times a year and only spend maybe $5-$10 on each wage and have never won in my life. Saturday I was doing some paper work and a number kept popping up so I decided to play a 3 number game. Not sure where you live, but here you can play a 3 number play on a 4 number game. I played first 3 exact order, first 3 any order, last 3 exact order and last 3 any order. Total ticket was $4. Well I finally won. It wasn't much, $75, but I was happy none the less. The following Monday, I decided to try my luck 1 more time and played a different set of 3 numbers and played it the same way. Won again. Twice in a matter of days and I have never won a lottery game in my life. Now I'm wondering if I should try my luck 1 more time...LOL Anyway, has anyone ever get on a lucky streak like that?
  12. Sure, what's next, Doris Day?
  13. Great, a thead about the 70's.
  14. LMAO!Worst part about it is that 50% of our membership have no clue who that is.
  15. I'll drink a beer to that...oh, wait a minute.
  16. Sardines and Anchovy. I tried and tried for the Omega 3 aspect of them, but can't do it.
  17. Wow, not as close as years past.
  18. I refuse to google that!
  19. Beer is not all bad either...that works!
  20. Yes sir, breakfast anytime is my fam's way to go anytime of day. Kids (13 and 9) ask for my waffles on Friday nights, especially during the Easter season. Omlets are my specialty as well as egg, cheese, english or bagel and name your choice of meat sandwich. HELLO, ANYTIME, I'M IN!
  21. I like your post, you're argument is based on the way you're catching fish, but, is it the action of the lure and not the forage the bass eats? Great post and keep digging!
  22. GUYS, RAUL WAS JOKING!
  23. That was good Sam! Not a joke, true story, but funny all the same. You know how you can say something that just comes out all wrong? Well it happened to my sister with her landscaper. For years Louis would come by the house to cut the grass, trim long the edges and blow the debris in a pile and clean-up. He charged her a flat rate for a years worth on lawn maintenance. My brother-in-law was really busy with work one year and didn't have time to trim the hedges in front of the house. My sister asked Louis for a price to have the work done, payable on the spot. Louis shook his head and said in his broken english; "Don't worry Miss Laura, I trimma your bush."
  24. LMAO! I was waiting for that! You have to admit Raul, you went M.I.A. for a while, I believe the 2 members you've addressed in this thread, the OP and the one you quoted don't know you very well...LOL...Tap on the breaks there kid, they'll learn that your negative posts are very positive. Nice to see you posting again, amigo!
