Well we're at the halfway point and it's been an interesting season so far. The surprises to me so far have been the:
Rays - Never thought their pitching would hold up and they seem to always get that clutch hit
Twins - Second place despite the fact they have a negative runs differential
Astros - I knew they were talented, but 60 wins by the all star break...are you kidding me? BTW, check out their road record?
Braves - Seriously, did you think they'd be around .500 by the all star break? I figured they'd be just ahead of Philly
Brew Crew - Sorry, I didn't see this coming. Let's hope they can keep it up. It's always good to see new teams contending.
Cubs - I knew there would be a World Series hang over, but I thought they'd still be over .500 by the break. Only 5.5 gms back, still time to turn it on.
D-Backs and Rockies - By far the biggest surprise teams to me. Too bad they play in the same division as the Dodgers.
Giants - What happened?
