Glad to hear that @A-Jay. Back in 2015 I was on a jog and saw a dog in a yard off the leash. My first thoughts was invisible fence but that wasn't the case. As soon as the dog crossed the sidewalk I knew I was in 'oh ****' mode. The dog got closer and I slowed to a stop. The dog ran in front of me, then around me. When I shifted around pivoting on my left foot I heard a pop in my knee. Right after the pop, the dog bit me in the calf. X-Rays and MRI showed nothing but I haven't been able to run since. Like you, I limped around for about a year until I could walk without a limp. I started working out doing more lower body exercises - Squats, RDL's things like that - and have at least gotten to the point where I can walk without pain. Running, jumping or any high impact activities have been taken away from me. It sux when you have a 12 y/o boy who still wants to get a game of touch football on the beach or participate in a coaches/players game of softball. Very jealous but at the same time, I'm very happy for you.

@A-Jay, always a good Sale Day in Red Sox Nation. He got knocked around a bit the last time he faced the Tribe, so I expect him to be a little more "focused" tonight. I wouldn't rule out a bit of "wildness" for a selective pitch either. Just a guess.

Can't agree more about JBJ @A-Jay, I do like the trade they made last night but I'm curious as to why Chris Young didn't start. I like the Brockstar, but would rather see Young in LF and using Holt as an infield utility player. I think Devers could use a break as he's turned a bit cold?

Nice win last night. I have a ton of respect for Kluber and really enjoy watching him pitch, but his decision to plunk Nunez late in the game kind of did him in. It will surely add to the drama if the Sox and Indians meet in October.

Yesterday the seas were a bit rough so we went over to Cape Porpoise where it was calmer. Got a nice pic of Goat Island Lighthouse.

Can't agree more @Jar11591, As soon as I fished the Skitter Walk, there was no turning back. For me it was a Spinnerbait to a lipless crank. I really think a lipless is more versatile and will catch more species.

Oh sheesh @A-Jay, back when you I started eating seafood, lobster was considered the poor man's seafood dinner, what were they doing with monkfish, giving it away?!?! Actually, not long after I caught them I heard that the tail section was delicious. I should have tuned into the Food Network a long time ago... We actually caught Spiny Dogfish that day as well and I found out that Dogfish was originally used by the English for Fish & Chips. I'm not sure how true that is though.

I was striper fishing in Maine in the bay and hooked into "something". I knew it wasn't a striper just from the fight, this was more like dead weight, kind of like trying to reel in a garbage can lid. It took a while or what seemed like forever but I finally got it to the boat: Not the actual pic, but this Goosefish or "Monkfish" as titled on a restaurant menu, was pretty scary to me at first. I was a little more careful than usual taking the hook out. I ended up with 4 that day. All went back in the water.

I actually tried a making a jig head with tungsten and plastic. You mix an equal amount of A resin & B catalyst then add tungsten powder. You could only do so much volume with the powder otherwise it's too thick to pour in the mold. If I remember correctly, it was like not even 10% of the total volume. It wasn't an epic fail because it still made a nice jig head, but the 3/8 oz head I made turned out to be like half. I tried to add a colorant to the mix as well but the tungsten drowned out the color making it look like it's natural "gray" color state.

Our baseball season ended a couple of weeks ago so the coaches family's got together and went to a futures game in a suite. Had a lot of fun. Next week we're taking the team to the Pawtucket Red Sox game (Triple A) for our season ending gathering. Should be fun. Some of the players having fun with K-O the mascot.

When Abby was a puppy we used to bring her to the beach to run around. You were allowed dogs on the beach at 6:00 pm. Her first time she had a ball until she got thirsty from all the running. She went down to the ocean for a drink and decided that the Atlantic Ocean didn't taste good. She never went near another body of water since... So the answer is no.

I know you did and I posted the day Elliott got suspended. I'm really just agreeing with you and pointing out that the running game is a huge part of the Cowboys offense. We'll see, he wasn't exactly helpful with the investigation.

Is Devers playing great or what? He jumps from AA and goes bridge on a 103 mph Chapman pitch the other way. He's only 1 of 2 left handed batters to do that against Chapman.
